#BREAKING Journalist Abhishek Upadhyay, who broke the news regarding Ram Temple donation theft, moves the #SupremeCourt challenging the Ghaziabad FIR registered against him over an alleged road-rage incident.

He alleges that the FIR is based on concocted allegations and is an attempt to harass him for his independent journalistic works. He contends that the complete FIR copy has not been supplied to him or uploaded and that the police were forcing nearby shopkeepers to delete the CCTV visuals of the relevant time.

He seeks quashing of the FIR, or in the alternative, its investigation by an agency other than the UP Police.

The ₹986-crore Small Satellite Launch Complex at Kulasekarapattinam was developed as a national space infrastructure project. Yet IN-SPACe is now moving to hand over its operations and management to private entities.

Private participation can strengthen India’s space sector—but strategic public infrastructure built with taxpayers’ money must not become a backdoor for privatisation.

ISRO is a national institution, not a business opportunity for a select few.

Public investment. Public accountability. National interest first.

A high-performing public institution like ISRO, which delivered global credibility and commercial launches for India, is being sacrificed at the altar of the Modi government’s greed.

The writing was on the wall. Earlier this year, a Parliamentary Panel even flagged the undervalued transfer of ISRO technologies to private firms.

Now, ISRO is to stop making rockets altogether and hand it over to the private sector.

More than 50 years of technology and capability, built with public money, is being transferred at steep discounts so private firms can make large profits.
