@ultabeauty Appreciate the response, but it's time to put away testers & reschedule #makeup applications/hands on beauty services. 1000's died bcuz they didn't know to do this soon enuf. Don't let that be for nothing. You have the precious chance to save lives. #CancelEverything#COVID19
@Sephora Please do the right thing for the well being & lives of your clients, cast members, & all other people they could infect as well. #Makeup application involves speaking to a client from 1-2 foot distance for 15-90 minutes, ~dozens of times/day. #coronavirus

Your clients, your cast members, employees, & the health of society will be affected by your actions at this time. This is now a matter of life and death. Please do the right thing. #mua#coronavirus#COVID19#makeupartist https://t.co/5JsnEP6jQZ
@RowanRowden RE: free shipping search results boost, if *most people* participate doesn't that just put me back at bottom of search where I started? Sometimes when I'm shopping I go to the very last page just for fun - I can't be the only one so maybe I'm better at the end than in the middle!
@mrSoupy_ Very good point. I'm just planning to use my Etsy strategically as a funnel once my site is up. At that point my goal w/them will be exposure, not sales or growth - that's what my site will be for.
@madhatter_shop @feralworks ...My site is under construction, but I redirect to my Etsy using the URL it will use so that all of my existing social media promotion will lead to my site, not Etsy in the future. Any shops who don't have a site yet might want to at least consider a redirect: cheap and easy!
@madhatter_shop @feralworks I always check for indie shop sites before I buy from Etsy, but this is more of an incentive. Same w/Amazon. Prices are often lower.
@theodoragoss I do feel you though it has been a challenge to go from NYC & Philly bread to options in the south! There are some world class bread/bakeries here but definitely fewer of them and nothing notable at the grocery store.
@theodoragoss ...I even skip their steps of handling the dough at all & dump it right on top of parchment in my Dutch oven. Comes out great every time and I never spend more than 5-10 minutes preparing it. It just has to sit 5-18 hours depending on whether you use fast rise or regular yeast
@theodoragoss Availability of good bread can really depend on what region or even town you are in. Also what style? Rye, crusty, soft, mache' - artisan or sliced? There are "no knead" methods for amazing crusty artisan bread by Jim Lahey & Jo Cismaru...
@FigmentPudding I feel you and I feel for bigger shops that have spent countless hours and years mastering outside ads independently - that's such a demanding skill! But I just have to say your branding & name are just amazing. Best wishes!
@aliburtt@kalgadoart@Etsy Right so I understood it was 30 days (tho many people aren't even noticing that carefully disguised point) - but it hadn't occured to me that 30 days might allow them to get credit for YOUR outside advertising dollar if I understand correctly.
