The respect for tourists starts at the airport when you find out that there are no Uber or Ola cab services allowed in Goa. To get to your hotel or travel around, you have to pay ₹30-40 per km to the taxi mafia.

The respect towards tourists is on full display when you book a cab through Goa Miles or negotiate with taxi drivers.

Respect is also evident when 4-star properties charging ₹15-20K per night don't even show a shred of hospitality toward their guests.

You also see traces of respect if you hire a self-driven car and accidentally scratch a car with a Goan number, even if it isn’t your fault. If you're with family, then not even God can save you from getting the demonstration of Goan respect towards tourists.

Hired a scooty and forgot to record a video of its condition? The next day, you will be shown respect while returning it.

Tourists will always remain indebted to the respect they receive in Goa.
