It is wrong to claim that Mrs Gandhi in 1971 wanted the Indian Army to liberate Bangladesh from Pakistan. Rubbish. Mrs Gandhi ordered C in C Manekshah to order Major General Jacob ( Indian Jew) not to enter Dacca. But General Jacob (Bombay Jew) ignored it and went in and arrested Pak Gen Niazi. While India cheered, Mrs G then ordered action against Gen Jacob. But he was cleared because he claimed that Teleprinter was not working. Later Janata Govertment decorated him.
