17 million people just lost health care.
18 million kids just lost school meals.
3 million Americans just lost food assistance.
And $3.5 trillion was added to the deficit.
All for a tax cut for Trump’s billionaire donors.
The ultimate betrayal.
When Roe was overturned and women bled out in ERs, we heard “states’ rights. When guns became the #1 killer of kids, still “states’ rights.” But one protest against injustice? Suddenly there’s federal boots on the ground. They don’t panic when people die, only when they speak.
Trump owes $500 million from his defamation lawsuit. He has not paid it, & owes 175k a day he doesn’t pay. They are not garnishing his wages or assets.
Meanwhile, his administration just ruled that student loans, that are not being paid, will be garnished from American’s wages.
U.S. Attorneys are not the President’s lawyers. They are the United States’ lawyers. You didn’t pledge an oath to a President, you pledged it to the constitution. This statement alone is reason enough for you to resign.
BREAKING -- Trump says he's kicking undocumented immigrants out of Social Security.
One small problem, though -- undocumented immigrants are ALREADY ineligible for Social Security benefits.
You know, because they don't have Social Security numbers. Because they're undocumented.
I actually wish Dems had acted this way when we won. Push your agenda though executive order, opposition be damned. The problem is Dems are always trying to play by the rules. We play chess, while they are playing Call of Duty.
Liz Cheney: “I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain.”
America, your dishonor will remain.
Cecile Richards dedicated her life to protecting and expanding women’s rights. She never wavered in her commitment to ensuring that women had access to the reproductive health care they needed, and her leadership at Planned Parenthood led to the inclusion of important healthcare provisions in the Affordable Care Act.
Women of all ages knew they could count on Cecile, and Michelle and I will always be grateful for her advocacy. We send all our love to Kirk, Lily, Hannah, Daniel, and all those who loved and admired her.
