@AmerinderKhatra Ethnic identity isn’t determined by one census language entry from year 1961. Many Punjabi Hindus reported Hindi for administrative reasons while remaining culturally Punjabi. Punjabi has always included multiple religions and scripts. You don’t lose ethnicity retroactively. 🥱
