Get your friends and family to leave a review. Another thing our company has done was have leads give us a review just on the appointment even if we do not get the sale. That alone has doubled reviews.
Last year in 2023, 99% of our business was cash. How much? $800,000. This year, we decided to start marketing finance and it is helping us be on track to be 7 figures this year.
Google ads can be brutal especially in major cities for remodelers. You are competing with all types of remodeling businesses. Handymen, local mom and pop, and major corporations. Google ads works.. but be prepared to pay a hefty amount.
It's true, Angie's/Homeadvisor sucks... 9/10 leads they send are bogus and they make it so difficult to request credit. Very few people know a loophole where 9/10 leads will actually answer the phone. DM me for how I do it. You have to promise me you will not share with others.
There is no one trick pony to generating leads for remodeling. You do good work. Get leads. You get google business reviews. Get leads. You share on social media consistently, Get leads.
@ramit If you are struggling with finances but do not know your numbers, it is on YOU. I am no longer scared to look at my finances because I came up with my plan and I stick to it religiously.
@irentdumpsters Yup, my customers are already so happy on the first day when we show up on time. Even happier when I send them daily updates. Customer experience is key.
Prioritize keywords like “kitchen remodel city” and “bathroom renovation city” and gather reviews. Traffic is good, but local visibility and conversions are better.
Organic SEO is great, but for kitchen and bath remodelers, optimizing your Google Business Profile is key. Most potential customers find you through the local “snack pack” on Google.
We once ranked for “DIY kitchen remodel tips,” driving traffic but not leads. Critics see a traffic drop and think we’re failing, but our revenue has soared by focusing on local SEO.
