Surat sets a beautiful example ..
a solar-powered water station built to save thirsty birds.
A small effort that reflects true humanity and care for every living being.
One mother forbade medicines to the dying, converted them, then laughed at the death count; the other mother has provided free treatment to 5.9 million, built 13 million sqft, 95 OT, 101 speciality, 4050 bed hospitals employing 1540 doctors.
The first mother got the Nobel Prize.
Her name is Neelam Katara.
On February 17 2002 her son Nitish was abducted from a wedding and burned alive by the sons of a UP politician.
His crime was falling in love with their sister.
She had never been inside a police station in her life.
Her husband was dying. Her younger son was still in college. She had no lawyer and no power.
She went to court anyway.
Witnesses turned hostile one by one. The UP prosecutor tried to drop the key witness. Neelam challenged it herself in court and won. She got the trial moved from UP to Delhi because the politician’s influence ran too deep locally.
In 2003 her husband died. She kept going.
She attended every single hearing. Took leave from her job as a school teacher. Appeared in court over and over across 14 years.
Vikas Yadav’s family threatened her. She did not stop.
In 2016 the Supreme Court upheld the conviction. Vikas Yadav sentenced to 25 years without remission.
She said this.
No matter how strong a person might be justice will catch up. It may take time. You have to go through the process. Never give up.
She fought for 14 years. Alone. While working full time. After losing her husband. After losing her son.
She did not just get justice for Nitish.
She showed every ordinary Indian that you can take on the powerful and win.
Follow for real stories about people who refused to give up.
What would you do if your dream seemed impossible — give up or fight till the very end?
For S. Aswathy from Thiruvananthapuram, the answer was clear.
The daughter of a construction labourer, she dared to dream of becoming an IAS officer as early as Class VIII.
She worked hard, earned an engineering degree from Government Barton Hill Engineering College, and secured a stable job at TCS Kochi. But her childhood dream wouldn’t fade.
In 2017, she made a bold choice: quitting her corporate job to prepare for UPSC full-time.
Three attempts. Three failures. Most would have stopped. But not Aswathy.
On her fourth attempt in 2020, she cracked the Civil Services Exam with an All India Rank of 481 — proving that persistence can outshine every setback.
Her father, once worried about daily wages, now beams with pride at his daughter’s success.
✨ A reminder that dreams don’t come with price tags — only with courage and resilience.

India didn’t just qualify for the Asian Games in surfing. They maxed out the quota. Four athletes. The maximum allowed. In 6 days, they compete at Butler Bay Beach, Little Andaman. A reef break so remote, you take two ferries just to reach it. Most of India has never heard of it. I hadn’t, until now. This is India’s first-ever surfing appearance at the Asian Games.

Wahi log duniya ko dikha rahe hain ki woh kuch bhi kar sakte hain.”

72 HOURS. ONE MAN. AGAINST AN ARMY. 🇮🇳🔥
Jaswant Singh Rawat—a name etched forever in the history of courage.
During the 1962 Indo-China War, at the icy heights of Arunachal Pradesh (then NEFA), Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat of the Garhwal Rifles was posted at a forward position near Nuranang.
When Chinese forces launched a massive attack, most troops were ordered to retreat.
But Jaswant Singh Rawat chose to stay back.
For **72 hours**, he held the post almost alone.
Using sheer intelligence and bravery, he kept shifting between multiple bunkers, firing from different positions—creating an illusion that a full Indian unit was still defending the area.
With the help of two local Monpa girls, Sela and Nura, he managed supplies and continued resistance against hundreds of enemy soldiers.
Outnumbered. Surrounded.
But never broken.
He reportedly inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy, holding them back far longer than expected—buying precious time for Indian forces.
Eventually, he was captured (or martyred in action, as some accounts say), but his courage had already become immortal.
So powerful was his legacy that even today, at Jaswant Garh War Memorial, he is treated as if he is still on duty—his bed made, uniform pressed, and meals served.
Because some soldiers never die…
They become legends.
India salutes this brave son of the soil. 🙏🇮🇳

23-year-old Anshu Rathore, brave Female Navy officer, became immortal. Nation salutes her sacrifice, courage, and patriotism. Jai Hind, forever remembered.
young boy showed great courage during a sudden hailstorm in Bikaner, Rajasthan. While strong winds and heavy hail created panic in the area, he stepped forward to rescue a helpless calf trapped in the open.
This is how Payal Nag used to draw in 2022-23.
Since she has no limbs, she would draw by holding a pencil in her mouth.
A video of her drawing caught the attention of her coach, Kuldeep Vedwan, and the rest is history.
In just 2-3 years, she rose to win GOLD at the World Archery Para Series.
Payal Nag is not just inspiring, she is redefining what humans are capable of.
Did you know that a 12-year-old child became one of India’s youngest martyrs in the freedom struggle?
A boy who should have been playing with toys…
stood fearlessly against the guns of the British Empire.
This is the story of Baji Raut, the brave son of Odisha.
On the night of October 11, 1938…
on the banks of the Brahmani River, in heavy rain and silence—
British policemen arrived and ordered young Baji to ferry them across.
They thought he would be scared.
They thought he would obey.
But in his eyes, there was no fear… only fire.
Baji refused.
“You are enemies of my country. I will not help you.”
Enraged, one of the officers struck him with a rifle butt.
But the young warrior did not step back.
Moments later, bullets were fired.
And that 12-year-old child… fell to the ground.
But his courage shattered the pride of an empire.
Baji Raut didn’t just lose his life that night—
he became immortal in the history of India’s freedom struggle.
Salute to this young revolutionary, whose bravery reminds us that courage has no age. 🇮🇳🙏
