@cl0wntism yeah!! the fact that they specifically pull kris aside during the first battle and the only hangout kris has in the cafe is with aqua, it definitely seems like the game wants you to compare the two. kris was mischevious, experienced something and then became "quiet and weird"

i highkey think aqua is just how Kris acted as a kid and I think the flowers dealing with neglect from asgore is about how kris feels neglected by him too. because even after all these years, asgore is still focusing on the case, just in secret

@ThePolish27 Kris is so torn in two. They want to keep their promise, they feel like they owe it, but moreso they want to be with Susie. But the guilt the carry has convinced them so easily that they can't. Kris you are so heartbreaking

thinking about deltarune chapter 1 era when one of the biggest things was ASRIEL in the game and the fact that he was coming home in a week. his arrival was looming over the narrative as something cursed and out of place. so much has changed and hes closer then ever

"sevenfour" makes me really emotional to listen to, not only is it such a beautiful melody but it's also the first time you actually hear kris play the piano and you can really feel their soul in that, I can't-
