@YankeeGunner Our left is weak - we've known it was weak from the start of the season. Then you layer in Odegard unavailability, Timber's injury and the time needed to adapt to Eze and then Saka's injury then Zubi getting overplayed....we become a defensive team trying to win the league.
We are in the middle of the Coaching Revolution in the NFL
It must be weird to be an Old Head kinda coach like Pete Carroll, Mike Tomlin or Aaron Glenn and not even REALIZE what is happening
If you arenβt from the Mike Shanahan, Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVay adjacent Coaching Tree then you are basically fucked
Carroll, Tomlin and Glenn have been doing rah-rah shit their entire careers, and itβs worked to some extent
But all that empty talk is gone now
The entire NFL revolves around cutting edge TACTICAL advantages now
There was a time when coaching was about motivating players and talking the talk, now it is about knowing what the opposition is gonna run and being 2 or 3 steps ahead
If you hire a pure Motivator nowadays, your ceiling is low, your team isnβt gonna go anywhere
@AFTVMedia New interlull fear unlocked. No longer will we only fear injuries, we can now brace for Tuchel's shithousing from the bully pulpit. Arteta plays horses for courses and he knows it. He should shut his mouth.
Tuchel seemingly pressuring (and potentially unsettling) a 19-year-old kid, who has had a remarkable amount of game time at the very highest level over the past 12 months, is really not a good look, IMO.
MLS is 19, he is going to play plenty of minutes at his club, hopefully challenging for the biggest honours over the next few months. This is just rubbish.
