Kitsat is a fully functional CubeSat, made for educational use on Earth. WISA Woodsat is based on Kitsat, upgraded with plywood, selfie stick and sensors.
Congratulazioni per il volo riuscito! Congrats to Aaccademia Aeronautica of @ItalianAirForce for conducting a successful stratospheric flight with Kitsat! Check here for a Italian story about their flight.

Big news day!
Kitsat’s smaller companion is now ready and sales are in full swing. Cansat NeXT is a new and modern version of the traditional Cansat. Check out https://t.co/wzddb5FewT for full documentation & user cases, but beware: this may be a slippery slope toward Kitsats!
Look at these cute antennas! Our first batch of mass-produced antennas is here – previously we made these entirely by hand. Kitsat has antennas made of simple measure tape because it is actually used in many satellites (like CubeCat-1 imaged here) & they're cute and educational.
After working the whole day (+evening) to improve space education and make it more interesting, we just realised it is the International Day of Education! Happy #InternationalDayofEducation from the space angle! (By the way, our ground station program now works on tablets, too)
Greetings from the Winter Satellite Workshop 2024 in Espoo, Finland - the largest new space expo & conference in the Nordic countries. We're present during all three days. Shout, If you’d like to meet!
Happy New Year from Arctic Astronautics!
We see many thrilling things coming up this year. A new batch of Kitsats will be ready in January (a few satellites are still in stock if you need one right now) and hopefully, we'll have soon some nice news 🤫. Keep looking at this space!
Thank you for being with us in 2023! What a year has it been!
We’ll go now offline for the holidays, enjoy the Christmas break and winter days, and come back to work in January. Seasons greetings & Happy New Year!
Another significant delivery: first Kitsats with US-compatible 915 MHz radio.
Let us know, @EmbryRiddle Florida campus, when these 10 satellites arrive!
Kitsats are delivered nowadays more or less weekly, but sometimes one outcoming box stands out: this one goes to @Hancom2020 Academy in South Korea for aerospace engineer training. Looking forward to further cooperation & hearing about their experiences!
Greetings and ni hao from Beijing! Our CTO Samuli was on a panel of an educational Congress talking about the competencies and the education strategies in different countries - his view was the STEM education in Finland (and Kitsat as a tool in STEM teaching.
Europe needs more space education and inspiration, space is not only the future but already now directly contributing 10 % of GNP in Europe. If you’re at #EUSW in Seville & would like to hear how we can help, just shout! We're on site.
What is this?
It's the first-ever photo taken from space, 77 years ago today. Read more at https://t.co/0hlAC3GLU4
(Note: Kitsat’s simple camera takes much better photos!)
It's Friday & #tgif! If you have time, enrich your weekend with the latest https://t.co/LyYKFXmdVy stories: Marcus Wandt and his new space suit, Indian spacecraft and record-breaking fast radio burst. Enjoy!
Just a reminder: we've got many Kitsats in different colours available now. From a single satellite to a six-pack in Peli case. We ship everywhere (for deliveries to space an extra fee is applied).

Today’s #Spaceplace story: ESA's Danish astronaut @astro_andreas has been for more than a month at the International Space Station. He has conducted loads of science experiments, is now the commander of the Station – and will soon be also a spacewalker.

Today’s #Spaceplace story is sad: it seems ESTCube-2 is destroyed along with Vega’s upper stage (that was deorbited after the launch). Two CubeSats were possibly not released from their deployers, #estcube2 was one of those.
Meie kaastunne!
