@Martyupnorth Marty do you know why Forever Canadian doesn't have to be a TPA? He's got a campaign office and buying signs to give out. I got a bull crap letter back from Elections Alberta.
Morning friends
The first time I've seen anyone present reasons for Alberta to stay in Canada is this image
Others have responded so I thought I'd take a shot
1- Alberta's Oil & Gas trade correlates with the strength of the Canadian dollar. An Independent Alberta means the dollar crashes
We can adopt USD. Alberta already trades in USD
2- While Independence has been openly discussed Alberta has created the most jobs in all of Canada. And large projects are still being announced. See #3 regarding investor uncertainty
3- Alberta is landlocked now by liberal legislation and woke ideology. On purpose. To harm all Canadians as our country plummets into debt
Costing Canada over a Trillion in investment, many more Trillions in lost revenues and a large percentage of business owners & job creators leaving Canada
Many of these loses were resource projects in Alberta
More businesses close in Canada than open now. Alberta did not create this poor environment. Liberals did. And despite being handcuffed Alberta still leads the way economically
Imagine being unleashed
4- Years of negotiations, maybe, maybe not. We know Canada will not negotiate in good faith so we will make lemonade out of lemons
We can't cross bridges until we get to them
I personally don't care how long negotiations take, because if negotiations are underway that means Albertans earned their freedom
5- Yes some losers who love communism, government control and to be taxed into unaffordable lives may leave an Independent Alberta. Cool. See ya
Never in my life have I seen such Stockholm Syndromed people who want higher taxes and a poorer more dangerous society. But here we are
They can be replaced by the many good and hardworking Canadians wanting to move to a free Alberta. With controlled immigration of course
6- Alberta can provide all these services. And by taking over responsibility from Ottawa, yes it increases costs, but also massively increases required jobs and the tax base in Alberta
Healthcare is already a provincial responsibility. The other responsibilities can be as well
7- I don't foresee very many leaving an Independent Alberta. Or a massive housing crash
Some will leave, but you'd have to be an idiot to leave lower taxes, a hopeful future, real freedom and protected human rights for what Canada has to offer
But fill yer boots NDP'ers
I see a massive influx of people wanting to move to a free Alberta, supply and demand tells me housing in general will be just fine. In fact it would probably create a building boom for residential, commercial and industrial builders
8- Alberta can renegotiate trade agreements. And in some regard have more leverage than we do now. Which is currently zero
9- Alberta can create its own modern military, with better training, standards, pay and morale than the current Canadian system
We can create a military Albertans can be proud of and want to join. We don't need ships and submarines, and can focus on whats neccessary
As compared to Canada needing foriegn mercenaries to bolster ranks, tampons in bathrooms, not having the proper gear to protect soldiers and offering Veterans MAID
Bless the military members, but Canada couldn't even defend Canada if it wanted to
10- Canada once was great. It no longer is. I love Canada. But I can see the approaching harmful future of debt, poverty and the government wanting to control your life
The Canada of leaving your doors unlocked or kids out playing until the street lights came on no longer exists in most places. Holding on to rosey nostalgic memories of what once was won't shorten the food bank lines or make it so young people can afford homes or children
I see your 10 reasons for Alberta to stay and my rebuttal is...
Its not good enough. Your premise is fear and doom. What is the cost of freedom? The cost of long term survival for generations of your family?
Its priceless
The cost of staying in Canada will be much higher.
I sense a dream carried by the breeze over the prairie.
It’s the hopes and dreams of mothers and grandmothers for freedom and prosperity for their children, fueling the desire for Alberta Independence.
Once activated, Mama Bears prepare, attack, and do not back down until their babies are safe.
Thanks to @vitamindees for the video.
Pierre is going to campaign tomorrow in Calgary for Alberta to stay in Canada.
I sincerely hope no Albertan thinks he talking to them.
He's talking to the East, not us.
#Albertaindependence
A Indian band chief rents my buddy's house on AirB &B program for $20,000 a month. It's located on a lake, so he is able to use his big boat and party with his other band chiefs.
Wonder if the other people on his reservation know about his LUXURY LIFESTYLE, taxpayers money 💰.
Sitting in a Mom and Pop Coffee Shop in Kelowna by myself. The atmosphere was pleasant, pictures dawned every corner of the shop. Memories of days past. Plants and flowers brought a delightful colour to the space. I found a small table next to a window.
Across from me was a table of 15 people, seniors and I’m guessing their middle aged children came down for a family outing. Age range was 95-22. ( guessing,I did hear one of them say ole Grandma B was gonna be 95.)
The conversation was about the Liberal Party. After listening a while I realized BC is far more based than I thought. The great grandmother was the loudest of them all, spunky old bird. She bellowed, “ I remember when we grabbed our politicians by the throat and drag them through town while the people threw rocks and fruit at them. I remember ropes and trees for traitorous politicians”. “This gawd damn country needs a Lee Harvey Oswald moment to get these sons of bitches in line”! She then proceeded to bang the table with her hand. “My husband,God Rest His Soul”. He did not die for this Country and our Freedom to have it stripped away”! Her daughter ( I believe) leaned over and whispered something in her ear that seemed to calm her. I saw a family in agreement with her. I saw a family worried about the future of Canada. Also to my surprise Alberta Independence came up. They also agreed that Alberta should separate from Canada. They also stated they would move back to Alberta if it happened.
When Canadian Families gather and the topic of conversation is the demise of Canada and its ill fated leaders,I can guarantee that other families across Canada, have had the same conversation. Repeatedly.
Our Politicians should tread lightly.
Last time I heard a conversation like that,Pierre Trudeau was in power. Canada was on the brink of a revolt.
Our Politicians better dummy up,it’s not like Canadians to speak this way. You know you’ve gone too far when they are talking about the Train Yard.
We are NOT as docile as they may think.
Their arrogance will be their downfall.
@rechievaldez This is the dirty secret of the “grocery benefit.”
The people paying the most GST get nothing back.
The people who pay the least get the cheque.
It’s not a rebate. It’s a wealth transfer dressed up as compassion. 🇨🇦 #CdnPoli#Carney
Today, 18 million Canadians received a GST grocery rebate.
My family pays more GST than the average Canadian, yet we don’t get a dime back.
We’re apparently too “well off” to qualify, but not too well off to keep footing the bill while politicians spend taxpayer money like it’s monopoly money.
Make it make sense.
If the #AlbertaIndependence movement does not start to adhere to a radical concept of UNITY, we are guaranteed to lose.
It’s sovereigntist vs federalist.
Not sovereigntist vs sovereigntist.
Get your heads out of the dirt folks.
If you are a sovereigntist, I’m on your team!
🇨🇳REMEMBERING TIANANMEN SQUARE🇨🇳
JUNE 4TH, 1989: Chinese communist security forces killed hundreds of protesting students in Beijing.
THIS IS THE GOVERNMENT THAT CARNEY IS IN BED WITH & WON'T DISCUSS CHINESE POLICE STATIONS OPERATING IN CANADA.
(NEVER FORGET - The Liberals WILL 100% use force against its own citizens, too.)
