@stephan72790281 I'm sorry. For me the breaking point is if they can't stop talking about it. There were several months where I didn't talk to my Dad, and I left Father's Day 2023 during dinner and drove 300 miles home. But I'm still glad I was there when he got sick and died this summer.

@AlanLevinovitz I think you're about 80% right. When I lived in Europe for 18 mo. the lack of over processed food made a difference in my health. I still ate Oreos and Milka bars, but the rest of my diet had not been engineered to be cheap, tasty and craveworthy. The chemicals make that easier.
