There is a march outside O’Reilly Hall UCD on Wednesday March 4th at 12:30pm. We should be screaming from the rooftops to get justice for this girl! Please show your support for her if you can.
After months of investigation and many challenges and pushbacks, we’re glad to finally be publishing this article.
The student mentioned here has been put through an awful situation and simply wants change in UCD.

@StudentOTs Placement should be about is about a safe physical learning. My learning came from things I would have done differently. I think leave the grades for essays and exams that are well structured and don’t leave as much room for subjectivity.
@StudentOTs I agree! My placements were pass/fail. I don’t think a number tells you how to be an OT. Constructive feedback does. We had learning outcomes that both students and practice educators filled out and discussed during supervision. This told me more than numbers
@KerryOSullivan4 Ah Kerry I feel this one. I’m now a fully qualified OT (UK trained) and it’s going to take 8 months to register in Ireland. I can’t understand this when there is such a need for these services and workers. I hope Ireland gets you back soon. They are missing out on a great SLT!
https://t.co/f1XtOOrf52 I’m so pleased this article is on BBC news. “People with a Learning Disability can cook, they just need the information given to them in a different way.” Yes! #learningdisabilityweek2021
@OT_Francesca @CallumMackOT @OTEdinNapier1 @bounceot@Chattersense1 Thank you so much for all the lovely comments! It has gone by so quickly. Thanks for everything.
