SM Entertainment has revealed the official descriptions for aespa’s solo songs performed at SYNK : COMPLaeXITY:
KARINA personally participated in writing the lyrics for the R&B dance track “16 Bit.” The lyrics liken the moments when one's inner self feels blurred to pixels that constantly shatter and reassemble. The song is driven by a synth sound that is both calm and intense, alongside a weighty groove.
WINTER’s “Saddle Up” is an R&B dance track that combines a groovy beat with a rhythmic topline. The song conveys the message that if someone wants to win her heart, they must prove their sincerity through actions rather than words. Through her vocals, WINTER expresses a confident and assertive attitude.
GISELLE is credited with composing and writing the lyrics for her solo track “BYEB4HELLO.” The song blends bright energy with unexpected musical twists, and the lyrics capture the longing for someone even while knowing the love is destined not to work out.
“I Love You But I Gotta Let You Go,” a track featuring NINGNING’s direct participation in both composition and lyrics, is a ballad driven by a grand string section. The lyrics capture the sentiment of having to reluctantly let go of a loved one, delicately expressing the emotions of a breakup.
