So basically, we waited 2 years for a season of tvl where barely anything interesting happens because everything is supposedly going to be addressed in s4 … in another 2 years? Does no one see how stupid and wasteful that is?
the writers saying that this season feels incomplete just because it’s only the first part of the story but s1 was also the first part of the story and yet it felt fully finished complete and coherent and could very well stand on its own :/
“go to hell” is basic. “i hope your favorite character of all time is character assassinated and the bleating masses eat it up.” it’s real. it’s awful. it happened to me.
daniel randomly going from “i was there to score” to “yaoi manther phase” man look how they massacred my boy and his discomfort with acknowledging his attraction to men
@sevlillies I need someone to ask at SDCC why they cartoonified everyone's dialogue. Daniel was snarky and condescending in the previous two seasons but he still sounded like a 71 year old who was "hip" in the 70s. Now he sounds like a buzzword generator.
it was gross enough to learn that the black writers were let go in general but it’s even grosser to find out from a zell williams’ most recent substack post that they were let go by being ghosted, not even giving them decency to know they’re out of a job
so many white male showrunners do this thing where if their work attracts a marginalized fanbase they didn't plan for, they start writing out of spite to try to alienate the audience they have and chase the audience they want and ruin their own pop culture legacy in the process
