From the 2006 400-bus promise, Pioneer Easy Bus (2012), Awakula Ennume, Metu’s 1,000-bus plan, to today’s e-buses, bus projects have repeatedly stumbled. The real question is: why eliminate taxis before fixing the system that repeatedly failed to replace them?
