OMG I DID IT 😭😭 because I kept editting my Vgen.
Ngl I kept the slot restricted and reopen it again when Im able to finish it in one day.
I didnt know it causes spam on email 😭 I thought the notif is only on Vgen.
Do some Vgen artists spam open and close their coms to push people to commission them?
Personally, it just feels forceful?
I am less likely to commission someone if they're pushing me to.
Just a gentle reminder to please not shit on artists for their pricing. Most artists on average offer art at a much lower price then they actually should. Art is a skill that takes years of effort and time. They deserve to be paid a fair wage as any worker. I know the economy is hard right now as it is for everyone, but artists who price their work themselves are not the enemy of that. Be angry at the people responsible for that.
Artists have been lowballing their prices for years. And frankly still are.
This price is too much that price is too much. This debate has been going on for so long now. I agree for vtuber models and stuff the commercial price should included but some people are using this as an excuse to dogpile on artists and expect us to let them use any art-
As someone in marketing at a corporate job, why are people surprised about commercial fees and stuff when it comes to art? You guys need to read people's tos more and stop commissioning scam artists...
At my job we have to literally pay subscription fees for the company logo-
i've seen so many pick-me artists in that monetized fee/commercial fee discourse lmao. if you let clients use your art as streaming assets/merchs that would bring them money without more fee then you do you. but shaming other artists that do it differently is insane.
People often complain that buying commissions is expensive, but they seem to forget that it’s not just a product - it’s a service.
For example, if you order a $50 commission and the artist takes 10 days to draw it, that means their labor is only $5 a day. 😂😂😂
