99% of memecoin traders never do this before buying:
1. Copy the CA and search it on X.
2. Check who's posting it. If the same accounts have shilled the same 20 different tickers in the past, its most likely the bundler trying to psyop you in.
3. Look at their activity. Real degens are active every day. Bundler alt accounts disappear for months, then suddenly come back to "find" the next 100x.
4. Check the narrative. Ask yourself: would people still talk about this if there wasn't a chart attached? If the answer is no, move on.
5. Read the replies. AI comments, botted engagement, and generic spam are all red flags. Organic communities don't need fake conversations.
6. Check the top holders. Look for one clip wallets, linked wallets, or groups of wallets that always enter the same launches together. Coordinated distribution is rarely a good sign.
If a coin fails any of these checks, I don't buy it.
The goal isn't to catch every winner.
It's to avoid as many losers as possible.
Most bad coins expose themselves if you spend 2 minutes doing your homework.
By the time you do this research the coin will be down 60%.
You can miss a few pumps, so be it.
Would you rather miss a 2x than hold another coin that's headed to zero.
Protect your capital.
There will always be another trade.
