A few years ago I wondered whether the shadows in Moon photos from the Apollo missions could reveal where they were taken. Nobody had a tool for it, so I built one myself.
Free, open source, and as far as I can find the first of its kind for the Moon:

@Galen_Reich Just finished the project after 2 years.
Test it out: https://t.co/DHMfzGvQf7

All feedback is welcome :)
It should be possible to test if the moon landing really happened. It's now possible to calculate locations using shadows and exact timeframes. A new system should be made specifically for the Moon and not the Earth, then it could be done. What do you think? @Galen_Reich@georainbolt@Gabor_Friesen https://t.co/ywi8D6w2Wq
"I wanted to reach out and give you a quick update after you helped me order my new MDT chassis. I had an incredible shooting weekend in Cornwall, and I couldn't be happier with the setup. :)
The chassis performed flawlessly, and it helped me achieve something Iโm incredibly proud of. I went into the weekend aiming for the 1-mile (1610m) challenge. Not only did I nail the 1 MOA plate within a few shots, but I also managed a Cold Bore, First Round Hit on the 1/2 MOA (23cm) plate at 1 Mile in a 27 km/h crosswind! The owner of the range Kevin B. who was also spotting me can confirm the shot.
Apparently, I am only one of the few to ever earn that specific 1/2 MOA patch at this range.
Thank you so much for your help with the order, this chassis is officially a keeper!
The action is a .300 PRC and shot with 225 grain ELD bullets."

Nice shooting, Kjeld. Love to see it! And thanks for sending us this story๐ฅ
One day, robot mechanics will be a normal standard job or career path. Because as people get emotionally attached to our personal robots, we won't want to just throw them away when they break or die. We'll want to get our robot friends repaired.
What if meteorites aren't just space debris, but advanced extraterrestrial weapons? Much like how humans built atomic bombs? Imagine if somewhere in the universe, extraterrestrials could control them.
Just had a weird thought after seeing lots of memes about how people communicate in ChatGPT.
AI may subtly alter human behavior.
Unlike human interactions, where respect and norms apply, people often engage with language models in a rude and demanding way.
When it fails, we donโt correct it, we dominate it.
Over time, could this conditioning influence how we communicate with each other?

Got myself this hat as a small souvenir for the BTC journey to tell my future kids about. Strong believer since $1k, now at $100k. Excited to see what the next 10 years will bring. @100trillionUSD
I believe that all the answers to the universe will be found through symmetry. It is a concept that hasn't been studied enough. One day, all the universe's mysteries will be unraveled through symmetry and asymmetry.
Imagine growing up a baby robot to a full AI robot that works like a human. A human takes 21 years to fully grow and develop itself. Imagine if you take 21 years of time on 1 robot. See what it can learn and become. In 2040 we will be living in a weird world.
Dead Internet Theory will become a reality with AI. Everything that you see online can be replicated on a massive scale with AI. Websites, Blogs, E-Commerce, and fake users. Verification of reality will become more important as AI/ML grows. Will money be the only way to solve it?
@boldsytech Everything in life is not what you think but what you execute. So yes, some truth in that. Maybe this allows all people to be on the same IQ. Wonder how that world would look like... A world full of Einsteins...
It's weird how ChatGPT has made me wonder how we will distinguish the real intelligence of a human being against a human that uses his voice online with GPT. The only way to confirm someone's real intelligence is by talking to them in real life. Also that won't matter for long:๐งต
Let's say in 2040 a lot of people have a Neuralink in their head that's connected to an AI GPT system. Then real human intelligence doesn't even matter anymore. By that time the AI is so advanced that it will not only tell you things, it will predict things for you...
