"Grassroots volunteer group to defend their town against rising settler violence" fundamentally describes the PLO, Hamas, PFLP, Hezbollah, and all anti-Zionist resistance factions.
When these guys get too effective, Israel will just bomb them and say they're terrorists.
This is posted as an offical editorial board opinion, which means that if one were to operate on the precedent set by the example of Streicher and Der Stürmer at the Nuremberg trials, the NY Post editorial board is apparently to be hanged.
I saw an Iranian dad on @AlJazeera this morning, my age, mid-50s. He was helping carry one of four coffins - one for each daughter 👧 🧒 👧 🧒
My girls are the same age.
I can’t stop wondering:
Did Australian intel help murder his daughters?
Am I funding these war crimes?
"The sniper who shot my friend Jihan's 3 year old daughter Noor, shattering her tiny legs while she was in her mother's arms in Gaza, is a hateful, racist ghoul -- I understand that's one of the things I've been criticized for saying. And I double up on it, frankly. But the rage, the disgust even hatred that Jihan or I feel toward that sniper is not racism. It is not anti-Jewishness. It is not anti semitism. Nor are her feelings toward the tank operator who blew out the back of her son Arhab's head, making her fingers sink into his brains when she tried to pick him up. Our feelings or words in response to 78 years of this barbaric, colonial violence are not 'reprehensible.' They are not antisemitic. And they are not anti Jewish. In fact, despite everything they have done to us -- despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of Jews both inside & outside of Israel support this zionist carnage & domination -- we still have the tender human sense to recognize those Jews, however a minority they may be, who do not support Israel. And to embrace the far smaller minority who are anti zionist, in fact."
Fuck Labor, but come on Pauline let's not pretend you don't serve the same murderous pedophilic regimes causing fuel prices to skyrocket as Albo does
One Nation is just another US/Israel puppet selling snake oil to disaffected Australians
the youngest child killed by the us strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls school in Minab was an infant named Mahna Zarei and she was only two months old.
i do not care about this armed grown man who can help the homeless at home, and enlist to kill children abroad.
The reason Israel didn't release the footage is because it's partially fake. It mixes real scenes with staged ones, the most horrific ones being the latter.
Case in point, the "girl under the table" scene. In this sequence, an 8-9 year old girl hiding under a table pleads for her life until a Hamas terrorist shoots her dead.
However, if you review victim lists, such as the one on Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs' site (here: https://t.co/N2bPMY0BmA), the only girl in that age range was Aline Kapshetar, and she was killed while riding a car with her family, not under a table. The other two under-10 girls who got killed, the twins Shachar and Arbel Siman Tov (6-y.o.), died by smoke inhalation in a safe room in Nir Oz — again, not shot under a table.
So that we have a child murder scene but not a victim's name — which obviously means the sequence was created with AI or staged with live actors. Either way, the footage is fake.
By holding private screenings of Bearing Witness, and not allowing even cell phones into the rooms, Israel avoided any technical scrutiny of the footage which would have revealed the falsity of some of the sequences. That's what led it to use this scarcely transparent procedure, not any misjudgment about the advantages of full disclosure.
I do not want to minimise the seriousness of the Bondi massacre, but it gains no extra horror from calling it Australia’s worst ever terror event. It wasn’t. Indeed I doubt it was in the worst five. 98 years ago, for example, a massacre perpetrated by the NT Police, at Coniston may have resulted in the murders of up to 100 people. There were others, of Aborigines, around Waterloo creek, possibly at Myall Creek and at other well known massacre sites, even where official accounts are vague about the numbers killed or wounded. While Myall Creek saw some perpetrators hanged, there was never one of the massacres where soldiers or cops were on the side of the victims.
Lots of talk of shutting down “hate preachers”, coded specifically as Islamic, but will they address Zionist synagogues with hateful rabbis? This rabbi was praised throughout our media despite his racist and genocidal speech, fundraising for illegal settlements, etc.
This quote never happened. He made it up. This is the same young man who falsely said "I do not feel safe" at University of Pennsylvania because of pro-Palestine demonstrations on campus. Israel supporters lie constantly because the only way to defend Israel is with lies.
Again Minns can only say that it's his views and his beliefs that forms the basis for this extraordinary anti-democratic legislation—his views are that he stridently and actively supports the state of Israel, and his beliefs are that he is personally a Zionist.
The Cross of Valor is awarded to Australian civilians for “acts of conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme peril”. In 50 years, only 5 have ever been awarded. I believe Ahmed should receive the 6th.
In moments of darkness, humanity still finds a way to shine.
While some have chosen to use this tragedy to fuel division, anger, and fear, the truth tells a far more powerful story. The man who put his own life on the line, who wrestled the weapon from the attacker and likely saved countless lives, was a Muslim. A father. A shop owner. An ordinary man who did an extraordinary thing.
He did not act out of ideology, politics, or hate. He acted out of courage and compassion. Out of an instinct to protect others, even at the cost of his own safety.
Let this be a reminder to pause before judging. To resist the pull of outrage and collective blame. Good and evil do not belong to any one religion, race, or people. They exist in individuals, and so does bravery.
Heroism has no religion. Humanity has no borders. And moments like this should bring us together, not tear us further apart.
May he heal quickly, and may we all learn something from his courage.
It’s one thing to jump to conclusions re Bondi on social media, but 7News are repeatedly stating that it is a Jewish area and that the gunman was “specifically targeting Jewish people”.
Jumping to that conclusion is dangerous and irresponsible
