MOTORISTS PLEASE BE MERCIFUL WHEN YOU SEE ANIMALS CROSSING:
Right in front of us, a young baboon tried to cross the road and get back to its mother. Before it could reach her, a speeding taxi (matatu) struck and killed the little one.
What happened afterwards was incredibly difficult to watch.
The mother stayed beside her baby. With a lot of grief, held it close and kept checking for any sign of life. For quite some time, she tried to hide and protect the little body, almost as though she could not accept that her baby was gone.
Other members of the troop eventually came closer too. They gathered around, checked on the little one and remained nearby. You could sense the confusion, grief and pain surrounding that tiny body.
Moments like this remind us that the roads passing through wildlife areas are not just roads. They pass through someone else’s home.
Wild animals form bonds, care for their young and can show profound responses to loss. A mother losing her baby is a tragedy, whether we witness it in our own communities or in the wild.
Please, when driving through national parks, forests and other protected areas, slow down. Give wildlife enough time and space to cross safely. A few seconds of patience can mean the difference between life and death.
This happened inside a protected area. These animals deserved the space and time to move safely through their own home.
We cannot undo what happened today, but perhaps this little life can remind someone else to take their foot off the accelerator.
Slow down. Give wildlife a chance. Their lives matter too.
Rest in peace, little one.— feeling sad.

Interesting times, at a time when the death of a King has occured and there are people celebrating this death 💔!
Let me ask, how long has the Musuga been acting in his role, what is so special that has turned the death of a King into a rewards bonanza party!
We see beyond the gifts and I can guarantee you, the wishes of King OYO through his will shall pass someday.
For now let's continue watching death celebrations of a King by the very same people who claimed to work with him.
ABANTU BATOORO, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
TWASWARA!
There comes a time when we must pause and ask ourselves: what kind of Tooro do we desire?
You cannot say you love the baby and then throw it away with the dirty water. Right now, we are doing exactly that, dragging the Tooro we claim to love down the drain.
We are a proud people with norms and traditions that teach us dignity, restraint and respect. Baragirakiki reminds us that even in difficult times, we can conduct ourselves with discipline and decorum.
Right now, we are falling short.
Tutajura ekikaali!
Let us self-regulate. Share less of what embarrasses the institution. Resist heated narratives. Comment less, listen more and lower the temperature.
We are not opposing teams.
There is only one team: TEAM TOORO.
Let us never sacrifice our culture, values and customs at the altar of social media likes and petty divisions. Our disagreements must never become greater than our love for Tooro.
Let history remember us not for the noise we made, but for the wisdom we showed when Tooro needed us most.
And right now, the call is clear: let us rally behind our new King and unite around Kujumura Empango on 29th September.
Let all our energy, goodwill and efforts go towards making it a success and marking this new chapter with the dignity, unity and respect it deserves.
Let us also stop speculating about positions and titles. His Majesty the King will make those decisions, in his wisdom and at the appropriate time. Let us give him that space and respect the Crown.
IN ALL, TOORO COMES FIRST.

For those of you asking why Earl Spencer has taken 30 years to write a book…. have you considered the reason is because of the way that KCIII, William and The Firm has been treating Harry & his family for years now???
It must be very triggering for him to see Diana's son & Meghan being vilified the exact same way that Princess Diana was
H.E the president, Gen @KagutaMuseveni, we have stood with you for decades as a nation, you have always stood by your people, yet again, on this, we plead with you again as a nation, we know you as a leader that takes time to make a decision. We have our hopes in you.
And then, this also, to mama @JanetMuseveni, you are a mother, you know the pain the queen mother has been subjected too from the babiito clan for over 3 decades, you know the pain she has endured in the last two weeks. We plead with you to speak for the truth, speak the truth to justice and let justice take precedence. Oyo left a will, hope it will be respected.
