For those who don’t know me my name is kalib Ruch and I have the goal of teaching, documenting, and learning during my final season of college baseball. As an aspiring college coach who is now entering the space of remote and in person training, I would like to use these, cont.
Two tools that I have used that helped me and my ability and arm health personally -
1. Football throws - great feel for the slider help the arm feel flowy and loose.
2. Impulse strap - amazing tool I never knew about I’ve had the best health in my entire career.
Train with me!!
A goal of mine has always been to coach baseball. Recently I’ve been so interested in getting into online and remote coaching as well. If you’re in need of someone who cares and wants to see you succeed leave a follow here and on my other accounts!! Hope to talk to you all soon!!
College Baseball Coaches, I have been reaching out looking for GA opportunities after my final year of playing. If there is any possibility of a college/university in need of one, I am more than interested in any opportunity. I have a full resume and a list of references as well!

Every day that you wake up is an opportunity to improve yourself and your skill. If you don’t take advantage then you’re eventually going to get left in the dust. So yes, go take those swings, play catch and record yourself and take a deep dive, and of course GO TO THE GYM!!👊🏻
In option one I wanted to give the athlete a more optional approach when it comes to their live and pen pre-throw, for option two its a much more mandatory work load until the athlete finds what works for them more and what they prefer to do in their pre-throw.
During my final fall semester playing college baseball I was also granted the opportunity to build a three week velocity program. From that experience I began to build an entire 15 week program.
Option two, I have drawn up a program that I would use for a pitcher who needs more of a build up of throwing load and intent into a “Velo Phase” for someone who has been strictly doing a lighter throwing program or build up.
One movement + three different arms = many different mechanical developments, fixes, and flows⚙️
My favorite part of baseball is that we all have one common goal and that is to throw hard and get outs efficiently, despite mechanical differences.🎯

An example of a short velo phase and ramp up I have put together. A total of three weeks with the same movements so the athletes get familiar with each movement. We expose them to more new movements post velo phase in regular plyo work/catch play👊🏻👊🏻
A couple of my favorite throwing variations to feel athletic and help feel out the entire body! I really enjoy going to the butt/knees in order to feel my upper half as well as feeling flowy throughout my catch play/plyos in order to prep for higher intensity/mound days!!🎇🎇
Beneficial it can be to have someone to talk to every day to watch your videos, walk you through a program, and even get you out of dark spots. I hope this account is as beneficial for everyone as it will be for me! Leave a follow and even follow my IG account @kjr_thowing
