SpaDeX Docking Update:
🌟Docking Success
Spacecraft docking successfully completed! A historic moment.
Let’s walk through the SpaDeX docking process:
Manoeuvre from 15m to 3m hold point completed. Docking initiated with precision, leading to successful spacecraft capture. Retraction completed smoothly, followed by rigidisation for stability. Docking successfully completed.
India became the 4th country to achieve successful Space Docking.
Congratulations to the entire team! Congratulations to India!

Greetings to everyone on the first National Space Day. We recall with great pride our nation’s achievements in the space sector. It is also a day to laud the contributions of our space scientists. Our Government has taken a series of futuristic decisions relating to this sector and we will do even more in the times to come.
From May 1, 2024, all commercial activities with respect to IRS satellite data and products would be handled by #NSIL while Bhoonidhi (https://t.co/EMdN4gLLPg) will continue to be the data dissemination platform.

Beyond Borders, Across Moonscapes:
India's Majesty knows no bounds!.
Once more, co-traveller Pragyan captures Vikram in a Snap!
This iconic snap was taken today around 11 am IST from about 15 m.
The data from the NavCams is processed by SAC/ISRO, Ahmedabad.
Chandrayaan-3 Mission:
Smile, please📸!
Pragyan Rover clicked an image of Vikram Lander this morning.
The image was taken by the Navigation Camera onboard the Rover (NavCam).

Chandrayaan-3 Mission:
In-situ scientific experiments continue .....
Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) instrument onboard the Rover unambiguously confirms the presence of Sulphur (S) in the lunar surface near the south pole, through first-ever in-situ measurements.
Al, Ca, Fe, Cr, Ti, Mn, Si, and O are also detected, as expected. Search for Hydrogen (H) is underway.

Chandrayaan-3 Mission:
Here are the first observations from the ChaSTE payload onboard Vikram Lander.
ChaSTE (Chandra's Surface Thermophysical Experiment) measures the temperature profile of the lunar topsoil around the pole, to understand the thermal behaviour of the moon's surface. It has a temperature probe equipped with a controlled penetration mechanism capable of reaching a depth of 10 cm beneath the surface. The probe is fitted with 10 individual temperature sensors.
The presented graph illustrates the temperature variations of the lunar surface/near-surface at various depths, as recorded during the probe's penetration. This is the first such profile for the lunar south pole. Detailed observations are underway.
The payload is developed by a team led by the Space Physics Laboratory (SPL), VSSC https://t.co/qBAOCsr4Vu collaboration with PRL, Ahmedabad https://t.co/7DNjnLiXua
