WONDERFUL PEACE
Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight
Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm;
In celestial-like strains it unceasingly falls
Oâer my soul like an infinite calm.
Refrain
Peace, peace, wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above!
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love!
What a treasure I have in this wonderful peace,
Buried deep in the heart of my soul,
So secure that no power can mine it away,
While the years of eternity roll!
Refrain
I am resting tonight in this wonderful peace,
Resting sweetly in Jesusâ control;
For Iâm kept from all danger by night and by day,
And His glory is flooding my soul!
Refrain
And I think when I rise to that city of peace,
Where the anchor of peace I shall see,
That one strain of the song which the ransomed will sing
In that heavenly kingdom will be:
Refrain
Ah, soul! are you here without comfort and rest,
Marching down the rough pathway of time?
Make Jesus your friend ere the shadows grow dark;
O accept this sweet peace so sublime!

Words: Warren D. Cornell, August 1889.
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11
I had a serious fall on Sunday the 14th and am painfullly recovering, but the good news is: No, never alone, no never alone,
He promised never to leave me,
Heâll claim me for His own;
No, never alone, no never alone.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone.
When in afflictionâs valley I tread the road of care,
My Savior helps me carry the cross so heavy to bear;
Though all around me is darkness, earthly joys all flown;
My Savior whispers His promise, never to leave me alone!

I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
The Lord Jesus Christ, in Matthew 28:20
STANDING ON THE PROMISES
Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.
Refrain
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
Iâm standing on the promises of God.
Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.
Refrain
Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.
Refrain
Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by loveâs strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spiritâs sword,
Standing on the promises of God.
Refrain
Standing on the promises I cannot fall,
Listening every moment to the Spiritâs call
Resting in my Savior as my all in all,
Standing on the promises of God.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is FAITHFUL that promised;) Hebrews 10:23
TRUST and OBEY
When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain
Trust and obey, for thereâs no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
Refrain
Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.
Refrain
But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
Refrain
Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.
Or weâll walk by His side in the way.
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

John Henry Sammis..1846-1919
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:Â
Act 2:18Â And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Oh this well of livÂing waÂter
Springing up withÂin my soul,
Gives me blessÂèd saÂtisÂfactÂion
While the changÂing seaÂsons roll;
And in JeÂsusâ love reÂjoicÂing,
Still a song of praise I bring,
For the blessÂèd gift of HeavÂen,
For this evÂer-livÂing spring.
Refrain
For this well of livÂing waÂter
That is flowÂing now for me,
Songs of praise and adÂorÂation,
Blessèd Lord, I bring to Thee.
From the depths unÂknown âtis flowÂing,
From the depths of JeÂsusâ love,
It was purÂchased by the SavÂior,
Gift diÂvine from Heavân above;
He alone can give this waÂter,
Whosoever will may come,
Quench his thirst from this pure fountÂain,
And from JesÂus nevÂer roam.
Refrain
So the blessÂèd news Iâm spreadÂing
Of this dear life-givÂing spring,
Ever pure and free âtis gushÂing
As my SavÂiorâs love I sing;
It is flowÂing, ever flowÂing
In this grateÂful heart of mine,
And my tongue shall tell the gladÂness
Of this matchÂless grace diÂvine.

Words: W. V. MillÂer, in SpirÂitÂual Songs, edÂitÂed by John M. HarÂris et al. (ChiÂcaÂgo, IlÂliÂnois: ChristÂian WitÂness ComÂpaÂny, cirÂca 1908)
Galatians 1:16
To reveal his Son in me - By the powerful operation of his Spirit, 2Co 4:6; as well as to me, by the heavenly vision. That I might preach him to others - Which I should have been ill qualified to do, had I not first known him myself. I did not confer with flesh and blood - Being fully satisfied of the divine will, and determined to obey, I took no counsel with any man, neither with my own reason or inclinations, which might have raised numberless objections. -- John Wesley
In other words, if God calls you to do something, obey at once, don't ask people what to do. Ken Kalis
Your prayÂer shall be anÂswered,
Hear the FaÂtherâs word of cheer,
Ere they call I will anÂswer,
While theyâre speakÂing I will hear.
If your soul still is trustÂing,
He will nevÂer say thee nay;
The anÂswer is comÂing,
It is now on the way.
Refrain
Now on the way, now on the way,
The anÂswer is comÂing,
It is now on the way.
His word failÂeth nevÂer;
Oh, âtis blessÂèd to beÂlieve;
âTis the soul that is steadÂfast
Wondrous blessÂings shall reÂceive.
Yea! His proÂmise reÂmainÂeth
Though stars should flee away;
The anÂswer is comÂing,
It is now on the way.
Refrain
His grace is unÂmeaÂsured,
Reaching into realms afar,
And He yearns to beÂstow it
Ever where the needy are.
Ask, oh! ask and beÂlievÂing,
God will hear you when you pray,
The anÂswer is comÂing,
It is now on the way.
Refrain
