Chris Mutsvangwa's Reckless Anti-Chiwenga's Utterances Accelerates ED's Demise?

a. It looks like motormouth Chris's reckless, provocative, inflammatory, highly personal & scathing criticism of Chiwengwa's academic credentials, liberation war record & treatment of his ex-wife has become the proverbial straw that broke the Camel's back in ED's long standing relationship with Chiwenga.

b. It's irrelevant whether or not Chris spoke on behalf of ED. The point simply is that Chiwenga & his allies believe he did, and not for the first time either.

c. What's worse is the perception that he regularly detonates these juvenile like volleys / reckless Anti-Chiwenga outbursts without being sanctioned by the party in the manner that those who criticise ED are.

d. Indeed given Chris's closeness to ED, his previous role as his advisor, his role in ED's rise to power, his ex-cabinet role, his wife's role & his overarching regime enabled financial interests, it's difficult to establish a clear dividing line between the master & his proxy's interests.

e. I daresay that the overriding sentiment is that a red line has been crossed & we have reached a moment of no return.

f. There can be no doubt that Chiwenga would have found Chris's utterances to be not only hurtful, but also deeply insulting, humiliating & inflammatory.

g. Where he had previously wanted to exercise patience, restraint & a deferrential approach, he will now tread with a sense of menace, grievance, cold & detached ruthlessness.

h. He will be like a wounded animal. On his list, ED's shameless betrayal has now been compounded by brazen disrespect, humiliation & insults via reckless proxy.

i. Whatever veneer of respect that was left is gone. The relationship has now irretrievably ruptured.

J. It's why Geza openly referenced the sensational allegations of attempted murder against ED that formed part of Marry Chiwengwa's criminal case.

k. Geza also stunningly accused ED of having bragged about Chiwenga returning in a body bag from his treatment in China! There's no coming back from that!

With Richard and the entire team, I’m confident that the best days for @Binance and the crypto industry lay ahead.

As a shareholder and former CEO with historical knowledge of our company, I will remain available to the team to consult as needed, consistent with the framework set out in our U.S. agency resolutions.

What’s next for me?

I will take a break first. I have not had a single day of real (phone off) break for the last 6 and half years.

After that, my current thinking is I will probably do some passive investing, being a minority token/shareholder in startups in areas of blockchain/Web3/DeFi, AI and biotech. I am happy that I will finally have more time to spend looking at DeFi.

I can’t see myself being a CEO driving a startup again. I am content being an one-shot (lucky) entrepreneur. Should there be listeners, I may be open to being a coach/mentor to a small number of upcoming entrepreneurs, privately. If for nothing else, I can at least tell them what not to do.

On that note, I am proud to point out that in our resolutions with the U.S. agencies they:

- do not allege that Binance misappropriated any user funds, and
- do not allege that Binance engaged in any market manipulation.

Funds are SAFU!

With that, I look forward to seeing the new leadership take the reins. Please join me in congratulating Richard on his well-deserved promotion.
