They lie simply because they want to prove their authority, though they have no legitimacy
US-based group We The Hongkongers has launched a billboard campaign in three major cities to urge citizens with family links to #HongKong to declare themselves as "Hongkongers" in the 2020 census.

The Police also accused him of conspiring with others to damage property and obstructing the course of justice in Tuen Mun on July 6 2019
He is currently in the Sha Tin Police Station.
