No B1G team has played and beaten a P4 team on it’s regular season non-con schedule and won a national title in the same season since 2002 Ohio State

In fact, the Big Ten is the only league that doesn’t require it’s members to play a P4 pit of conference game, something the SEC has required for a decade.
