People of Namibia 🇳🇦
We hear a lot of Women leadership noise mainly by women who only want to Promite themselves and get the next available position. What is LOST is Real IMPACTFUL STORIES that are left in Silence because these women are not as LOUD. Natalia Goagoses was once a Chief Regional Officer of Erongo region. She got CLEAN AUDITS from the Auditor General, something many regional Councils struggle with to date. When she became Governor of Erongo, she found that the Office of the Governor was located in a HOTEL and government ostensibly paid more than N$ 100 000 per month for this Hotel located Governor office. She MOVED the Office OUT of the HOTEL and went to an old Government building that she is renovating from donations. Finance Minister Erica Shafudah is another. The Fiscal reforms we wanted for years as activists she has implemented. She Passed Regulations to stop Banks from being controlled and dominated by Foreigners. Banks Boards and Executive must now be 70% Namibian. She passed regulations on Building Societies and ended Corrupt financial management deals. We will now have GOLD as part our RESERVES and very soon we won’t have to pay for it. She also LISTENS and we may get, although not there yet, a Real SHIFT from a Neoliberal Capitalist Fiscal Orientation to Radical Fiscal transformation. These are women we should celebrate when it comes to PUBLIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT! In case no one recognizes your efforts, Meme Natalia and Meme Shafudah, we see your Efforts 🙌🏿❤️🫂
Namibian courts should sentence drunk and reckless drivers to hours of community service where they accompany paramedics to accident scenes and spend time assisting at mortuaries during the postmortems of road accident victims, so they can experience the real consequences of DUI.

May Day: A nation at work… Allegedly!
Yesterday was Workers’ Day - that sacred occasion where we celebrate the dignity of labour by… not labouring. A beautiful contradiction.
But as the braai smoke clears, spare a thought for Namibia’s most endangered species: the conscientious worker.
Because comrades, the modern workplace is no longer a site of productivity - it is theatre. Pure performance. Broadway, but with payslips.
Take the Professional Latecomer. For them, “on my way” is not a statement - it’s a lifestyle. 08:00 is a suggestion. 08:47 is a possibility. Their arrival is delayed by traffic, weather, mood swings and, occasionally, spiritual resistance. By the time they clock in, they need a break - from the exhausting journey of excuses.
Then there’s the Office Furniture Inspector. Permanently seated. Rooted. If sitting were taxed, Namibia would clear its debt overnight. Their keyboard is ornamental, their mouse exists for symmetry, and their screen brightness is set to “just looking busy”. Yet somehow, their salary arrives with Swiss precision.
Ah yes - the WhatsApp Operations Manager. This one is running 17 simultaneous “urgent discussions”: family group, church group, stokvel group, alumni group, “Serious Business Minds” group - everything except actual business. Their thumbs are overworked, their output is underwhelming.
Enter the Weekend Millionaire. Salary drops, and suddenly they’re the Minister of Enjoyment. From Maspiri in Katutura to Phat Boys in Hochland Park, they are single-handedly stimulating the hospitality sector. Bottles are opened like government tenders - recklessly, repeatedly, and without long-term planning. By Sunday, they are fasting involuntarily and blaming the economy.
Close behind is the Gambling Economist. This one doesn’t budget - they believe. Their entire financial strategy rests on odds, vibes, and that one guy who won N$5,000 in 2018. Rent is negotiable. Aviator is not. They speak confidently about “returns” while returning home broke.
Then we arrive at the Department of Side Affairs - a fully decentralised operation. This worker has a national footprint: one girlfriend per region. Man moet eet, apparently! When payday comes, so do the emergencies of the missuses. The one from Omusati is faking her grandmother’s death, and the one from Nkurenkuru needs to do her nails. To impress who in Nkurenkuru?
The one in Mariental talks about running out of electricity. Then you must send N$500 to the one in Arandis who wants to come spend the long weekend with you in Windhoek. N$300 for transport, N$200 for chilli bites at Wilhemstal.
Meanwhile, back home, the real parents - the ones who sacrificed everything - are told, “Things are tight.”
Tight? My brother, your finances are not tight - they are between the legs of 14 women.
Let us not overlook the Strategic Sick-Leaver. Every Monday, a medical crisis. Every long weekend, a relapse. By Tuesday afternoon, a miracle recovery. Science cannot explain it.
And then, the Meeting Contributor Who Contributes Nothing. Their signature line: “I agree with the previous speaker.” Unfortunately, the previous speaker also said nothing. Together, they form a powerful alliance of emptiness.
Finally, the Promotion Activist. This one has not produced measurable output since the days of Sam Nujoma, but every year they are outraged at being overlooked. Anuwa its office politics. No Matheus, you’re useless!
So as we reflect on Workers’ Day, let’s remember: employment is not a monthly donation. It’s a transaction. You bring effort. They bring money.
Happy belated Workers’ Day - and if you see work… don’t just greet it. Try it.
Joel Haikali, director of Netumbo: A Leader Beyond Politics, emphasized the urgent need to preserve Namibia's history visually for future generations.

As @MICTNamibia we are happy to be part of this initiative, teaching our kids how to code while in school. My dream is to lower the grade even more and have primary school kids learn how to code in the school curriculum as early as possible. But baby steps, we will get there.
Sad to receive a few calls from a few innocent grandmothers in Walvis Bay struggling without power or water due to unpaid bills. I’m sure you get these calls from all over Namibia. Dear Municipalities of Walvis Bay and the rest of Namibia, Councillors entrusted to serve - i mean entrusted to use your brains, the infamous Nampower and Namwater, Reds and last but not least, REDFORCE - you all have a MANDATE TO SERVE. When communities are struggling and you ran out innovative ideas and serving your own interest, is disconnection the only answer? I believe there are smarter solutions that ensure both utility sustainability AND human dignity?
It’s time for accountability AND innovation. Who should lead this change? I’m not the most qualified nor do i claim to have all the solutions, but we must normalize seeking solutions from the public and interested business leaders in order to keep water flowing and lights on for EVERY family?
Dear entrusted leaders, Happy to share ideas for FREE ✊🏾, in meantime reconnect the water. Share rhe message with your leaders including those in KOMBAT amae? Thank you: KRK

Your previously “friendly” banker no longer wants to “help” once you default a home loan. They send you to their lawyer. They dribble you. They get a court order. You will be surprised that an associate of the bank’s lawyer or your banker bought the property. This is a dark web.
I think British people have the best sense of humor out of all nations, their accents makes it even better.
Kwanyamas are right in the mix too, our humor and sarcasm are top tier.
As for the Ndongas and Kwambis... They are egoistic pieces of shit.
