Each year, August 25 feels a little different. I suppose I'm still writing the story.
I mostly miss the life I had before, especially my health and fitness level. But I haven't given up on getting that back.

@LidiaChmel Great question. I struggled with this several times too. I think the solution is in the habit itself. Making it so small that it can be done every day - like a placeholder. Write one sentence. Do 2 stretches, etc.
On good days, we can do more. But never less than the minimum.
At 9am CST tomorrow for #MediumDay, I'll be presenting w/ Malica Ahmad about how to use #KeystoneHabits to give yourself momentum.
If there's changes you want to make, but feel like you keep getting stuck, we'll show you how habit science can help.

@meredithe So very true! I think this is one of the most useful mindsets of Stoicism. When something doesn't work out, I try to look for the new opportunity that could be created.
Yup. And no need to wait until you're forced to decide.
I think this is the best reason for daily walks. Helps immensely with mental clarity.

If you're not actively choosing your life path, someone else most certainly is.
Take some time, take a walk, and decide what you really want out of your time on this earth...
The clearer you get, the more you can tailor your choices.
Don't allow others to decide for you.
@bikerly @coachdotme I'm happy to be cursed in that situation. ;-)
I try to do at least a minute every day, and it's always a shock at first.
Kudos on committing to another round!
