We’ve continued our push for campaign finance reform and have made some progress thanks to the #MSLeg. However, two very important pieces need to make it across the finish line. 1. EVERY elected official should file electronically on our new CFR system, from dog catcher to governor. 2. EVERY campaign account should be held in a recognized financial institution. These two pieces would have been incredibly helpful in the last two federal investigations. Let’s get it done, #MSleg.

After that, it's up to the candidates.

This was a tool needed in the toolbox that we thankfully never had to reach for, and hopefully won't have to. There is potential for deepfakes, as defined by the law, to cause serious harm and we are ready with SB2577.
