The "Dignity Act", introduced by Reps. María Elvira Salazar (R-FL) and Veronica Escobar (D-TX), proposes a pathway to legal status for certain immigrants in the U.S. illegally while still enforcing border control.
.@Heritage Foundation's @lora_ries explains why she opposes the bill:
"Amnesty is not good policy, because it simply tells future illegal aliens to come to the U.S., wait, and you too will eventually get your amnesty or green card. This has not worked in the past – it undermines the rule of law.
No, SCOTUS did not just allow Alabama to use an unconstitutional map. The map Alabama will use was a 2023 remedy to the 2022 map. The 2022 map was struck down by the three-judge court in Alabama (later affirmed by SCOTUS) for evidentiary, not Constitutional, reasons.

@KatiePavlich Israel needs to seek out and engage Hezbollah once and for all. It will be painful but removing this scourge once and for all would bring more peace to the Middle East and particularly between Lebanon and Israel.
Senator John Fetterman says he was the only Democrat on the Senate's Fraud Exploratory Committee to vote in favor of opening an investigation into Malia Obama's suspicious USAID grants when she was still living at the White House in 2007.
"She was just a kid," said Fetterman, "So shouldn't we be looking at how a high school girl snatched $2.3 million for writing pen pal letters to a few dozen kids in Africa?"
Fetterman says the party's refusal to investigate its own people is the main reason he believes there will be a red wave in November.
"Nobody sees it coming, but mark my words."
Despite no Democratic support, GOP has the opportunity for Affordability & Opportunity Reconciliation 3.0, the best opportunity to lay out their agenda on affordability for the American people.

A perfectly implemented photo ID law in Virginia where a district court judge found the law disenfranchised absolutely no one! And the left leaning 4th Circuit upheld. This law was overturned by a legislature for purely illogical and partisan reasons. This is why Ohio citizens may have the opportunity to put photo ID in the state constitution.
Today, @Restoring_USA president @Justin_Riemer testified in support of Ohio’s SJR 10, a bill that would strengthen voter ID laws in the state.
“SJR 10 is a lasting solution. It enshrines voter ID at the [state] constitutional level, while leaving the general assembly to set the specifics.”
Huge win for the rule of law.
A lower court had flouted the recent Callais decision and blocked Alabama's new map.
SCOTUS just ruled that it meant what it said in Callais: States cannot draw maps based on race—and courts can’t force them to either.
Alabama can use its new 6-1 map.
Congrats to Alabama. Its remedial 6-1 was constitutional the day it was passed and remains constitutional today. Now, on to going +1 in November and then building on it in 2027.
Bari Weiss could try to prove she’s being evenhanded by firing a conservative employee from CBS. . . .except there are no conservative employees at CBS.
RITE President @Justin_Riemer testified in an Ohio Senate hearing today in support of a constitutional amendment for voter ID to further protect elections in the state.
The committee then passed it to the full Senate.
