Rojava, in the shadow of an international agreement and plan similar to what happened to Bashur in October 2017, has come under the threat of attack and annihilation.
Damascus, in a deal that hands over large areas of Syrian territory to Israel, is targeting the Kurds and seeks to restore its lost prestige by shedding Kurdish blood.
It appears that Tom Barrack, the special envoy of the President of the United States, has traded away his obligations, responsibilities, and moral commitments for a set of interests that ultimately damage the reputation of his own country.
The fall and occupation of Rojava in addition to deepening the plight and marginalization of the Kurds, would place Kurdish national security in grave danger. Therefore, at this critical moment, the only path of resistance is once again national confrontation and steadfastness. It is either Kurdistan or nothing, and the courageous and resolute call of “Ey Reqîb!”

For this reason, I hereby announce the decision of the Kurdistan National Army to participate in assuming this national duty.

The command of the Kurdistan National Army will urgently and without delay enter into discussions with the relevant parties regarding the mechanism of crossing over and reaching the defensive lines of Rojava.
