it's kind of the same stuff i noticed being normalized in western (primarily american) media in maybe 2016 or so, and i'm noticing a lot of dog whistles. also, see who is joining the boards of some of these companies
idk if kpop fans are noticing, but the pro-israel christian extremists are/have been infiltrating the korean music (and maybe general media) industry. just be wary of any propaganda.
@gthmic and i hate when i use these words correctly, and some bitch thinks i'm just throwing in buzzwords. nooo i actually know what words mean!๐ญ like why do yall take every word and drive it into the dirt?? and why are people using words they don't know the meaning of?
@schuy_ler also, this isn't a criticism, just an observation. it's obvious they're tryna find something that suits/makes sense to them. it's just gonna be quite difficult if they refuse to diverge from taking on whatever new trend comes + dumping the old one they swore they identified with.
@schuy_ler yea.... their "whimsy" isn't really that whimsical bc they've all decided to try it together as a trend. the point of being whimsical was to do you, and enjoy doing it, no matter what anyone else is doing. they've done the same w/ any other "weird kid" aesthetic or interest.
