Instrument trivia:

There is no 'Army' or 'Navy' side to an Army-Navy retractor; the entire thing is called an "Army-Navy".

However: it is also called a Parker-Langenbeck retractor. This seems to be the combination of a Parker (shorter) retractor and a Langenbeck (longer) one.
