@Browns - please follow the amazing gift from this young man and his family that is now grieving. A Cleveland Browns legend was saved through their tragedy and could use the support right now. Organ donation is an amazing gift and hopefully the family can find support right back 🧡🤎

@GovMikeDeWine I defended you as a gov who led us thru COVID. I have not always agreed w/you, but I at least tried to support you. We are all in trouble b/c the kids who need the funding won’t get it. You support what hurts kids & not help I hope you are satisfied with that - so disappointed

FINAL: Dodgers 9, Mets 0
Los Angeles tied a major league record with its 33rd consecutive shutout inning to lock down a Game 1 victory. The Dodgers struck early, bouncing Kodai Senga after just 30 pitches (and 10 strikes) with three runs on the board. They tacked another three on David Peterson, with Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman both logging two hits, scoring a run and driving in another. Mookie Betts’ bases-clearing double accounted for the final three runs.
It’s just one game. The Mets are too good to roll over. But the Dodgers’ pitching over the last four games has been something to behold. Jack Flaherty was spectacular tonight, throwing seven two-hit innings with two walks and six strikeouts on 98 pitches. He started Game 1 because of the injuries that have befallen Los Angeles. And it’s worth remembering: The Dodgers have tied the 1966 Baltimore Orioles for the longest scoreless streak in postseason history while missing more than a full rotation of very good major league pitchers.
- Shohei Ohtani
- Tyler Glasnow
- Clayton Kershaw
- Gavin Stone
- Tony Gonsolin
- River Ryan
- Dustin May
- Emmet Sheehan
Game 2 is Monday. And while the Mets have proven plenty capable of coming back from perilous situations, a 2-0 deficit to the Dodgers is a difficult ditch for any team to climb out of.
