Don’t think he has x to tag him but honestly could not have put this better myself 👏

So do we believe that Man City’s revenue became fully real when the bar became fully dark blue?
The sponsors just suddenly started paying that light blue section themselves as soon as the investigation starts 🤣
Listen Again! The Diaz offside audio must be revisted! This happened the SAME WEEK the refs on VAR (Darren England and Dan Cook) were paid £20,000 to ref a single game in the UAE. The first and only time a legitimate onside goal was not corrected in the VAR era!
Darren England and Dan Cook both ignore Mo Abby the lines operator who points out the onfield call was offside. They seem to ignore him, and are frozen for seconds not knowing how to address it.
Abby alerts them to delay the game on request of Oli Kohout, The Senior VAR operations executive. They two Refs who had just been to the UAE ignore this request.
England seems to be in a rush to confirm check complete during the initial call.
When the mistake is flagged by Abby who says “the decision was offsides.. are you happy with this?”, Cook says “yeah” “offsides…. goal… yeah” almost frozen, not suring what to say.
At the time it was brushed off as confusion and panic, but was it something more? On relisten does it seem like refs trying to slip in the wrong decision and not knowing what to say when called out?
It seems like they didnt know what to say, to justify it. The two people asking to delay and flagging the error were those not on the UAE trip.
The two refs rushing to restart and silent for seconds as its pointed out were both on the trip to the UAE that paid 20k.
Did Abu Dhabi help regenerate east Manchester?
Zero affordable housing units were inc in Manchester Life developments, despite the council’s own guidance for 20% – the equivalent of 294 housing units
BREAKING: President Trump says he will now give a $5,000 “Trump Dividend” to every US citizen if Republicans win the midterms, rather than just US adults.
On September 9th, President Trump said that only US adults would qualify for the $5,000 payment.
There are ~316 million US citizens, meaning the payments would total ~$1.58 trillion.
That is +$350 billion more than the previous proposal.
EXCL: Etihad Airways has called on the world’s “most feared law firm”, Quinn Emanuel, in its potential legal action against the Premier League. The US law firm has been named “most feared” by BTI Consulting five years in a row.

No job. No home. No money. A world full of threats. As the Manchester City scandal explodes, Rui Pinto — the whistleblower at the centre of it — is left to fend for himself by Portuguese authorities and is no longer protected. Story with @ed_aarons https://t.co/uSAp2lxtKU
PSG revenue:
2010/11 — €99.5m (before the Qatar takeover)
2011/12 — €220.5m
2012/13 — €398.8m
Amazing commercial work by the guys from Qatar there.
300% increase in two years.
English football has reacted with anger to the scale of Manchester City's cheating but an awkward question hangs in the air: did City suddenly clean up their act after 2018?
A number of the club’s big Abu Dhabi sponsorship deals that have attracted much of the scrutiny were still in place beyond 2018 – and remain so to this day.
@TelegraphDucker looks into what has happened to City’s commercial revenues since 2018 and the curious sponsorships that have been raising questions ⤵️

Just a friendly reminder that Michael Oliver and other Premier League refs were allowed to pop over to the UAE referee a few games and pick up undisclosed payments.
I guess nothing to see here @premierleague Completely fookin normal. 👀
Andy Burnham has just dug himself a big hole and encouraged the media to delve deeper into what happened with Abu Dhabi, Manchester, and specifically Manchester’s leadership. Councils leaders before him both became honorary presidents of Manchester City.
Disgraceful that the prime minister is doing this. He is applying political pressure on the outcome because it’s his city and reflects his time in office.
Would he do the same if it was Chelsea or Newcastle’s owners?
‘None of Manchester Life’s homes are affordable, and the developer does not pay any subsidies for local amenities, known as section 106 payments.
‘Rivals say the partnership has created an uneven playing field for developing the lucrative east Manchester corridor next to the Etihad. “This is a sweetheart deal between the council and Abu Dhabi,” said one. “They get the land without any fair competition process, they can build apartment blocks, and when the blocks start earning millions the council gets no rental income. They don’t even have to make section 106 payments, like lots of other developers. The whole thing stinks.”
‘Manchester Life was launched with a promise “to rebalance the relationship between landlord and tenant to one of equals”. Just a year after the opening of a rental apartment block in Smiths Yard, residents received section 21 eviction notices. These allow landlords to evict tenants without giving a reason, even if the rent has been paid on time and the property kept in good condition.’

Poor - and biased - response from Andy Burnham on Manchester City being found guilty of all charges related to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules by an Independent Commission.
He says “I can’t intervene *more* in the process,” which requires an explanation in itself.
Then offers commentary on previous proceedings he felt was unfair, AND states he wouldn’t want to lose the club’s owners who have “been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester. Obviously, the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is.”
How was that force built?
And on the investment into the city itself, per a 2022 Guardian report: “Nine sites were sold to Sheikh Mansour at a fraction of their value, and well below what other plots nearby fetched. They were on leases lasting 999 years, well beyond the norm. And the fund shifted what had been public assets to companies registered in Jersey.
“That walk along the water from New Islington into Ancoats now passes blocks of privatised land owned in an offshore tax haven, which yields millions upon millions for a key member of the wealthy elite running a surveillance state halfway across the globe. One of the greatest cities in the world has sold itself to a senior figure in a brutal autocracy – and not even for a good price.”
Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
🗣️ Pep Guardiola’s message following the verdict against #MCFC. “I want every single Manchester City fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all.”
Been reading takes like 'City fans don’t deserve this, it’s not their fault the owners cheated'.
Well the fans of the clubs who suffered due to this gargantuan fraud also didn't deserve to see their teams get relegated, miss on Europe qualification, miss winning PL, cups, etc.
Cooked the books and basically said we’ve made £900 Million in revenue is absolutely WILD. Said we got £340 million sponsors and commercial etc etc. when only really got £43 million 🤣🤣🤣. Teams have been robbed titles and trophies…. Before you all go, it was won on the pitch the players deserve it…..
If you’d gone by the rules like Newcastle, like Aston Villa you wouldn’t probably have half those players!!! Man City moving absolutely wild 🤣🤣 thought they would get away with it as well, hahahaha zero sympathy, now use are f@#*ed take all your trophies to the championship. #mancity
No wonder Liverpool fans despise the rest of the football supporters in this country
Man City cheat and are found guilty of 114 charges and all I’ve seen is Heysel and hillsborough references
Chelsea/City and even evertonions have stooped so low its embarrassing and pathetic
