@jenteach13 Just for being it being Sunday this should be done. For those going back August 3rd this is our last Sunday without the anxiety. Oh, wait! It's still there!
@educator4ever36 This focuses on students misbehavior. Perhaps there should be focus should be looking at the other side of the coin (biases), too. Definitely needs to be a focus on consequences!
@conniemackwsbb Thank you for the schedule for the week. We were looking for it yesterday afternoon to plan out the timing this week. Didn't need the teams, just the times. 😁
@Askmsdel@FromTeachrsDesk I agree. I'm just saying that crap food is cheap. That may be all that they can afford and shaming them for that is not our job. I ate a lot of mac and cheese in college. It wasn't healthy but it was what I could afford.
Back to school teacher suggestion: Tonight, write down one thing that's been quietly taking up space in your head, just to get it out of your brain and onto paper. It doesn't need to be solved tonight. It just needs to stop living only in your head.
@BenisonMrs I would love to see work examples as part of and IEP and being presented to parents. While I do give them to my spec Ed director, I don't see them being presented to the parents as proof of why and what is happening.
Underrated life advice: A good life is built by simply doing uncomfortable things sooner. The delayed conversation gets harder. The ignored problem gets bigger. The small repair gets more expensive. Peace is never found through avoidance. It’s found through direct early action.
@Principal_Jon I loved being a homeschool mom! It was easier with my daughter and having a toddler son, but tougher when he grew up and I was trying to run a business also. It did open my eyes for being a teacher now with the classroom of kids. ♥️
