@ekunnen Hey my friend. This may - or may not - be an accurate measurement, but you and I know as educators to go to the source and question it’s motivation. Anthology sells online learning…the author should have pointed that out.
@michelecoash #edt64402020 Maybe this was written with greater hope for Twitter in 2014, but I don't think it has lived up to the h.s. students "being the first generation to master the art of posting respectful, deeply considered ideas in real time—and in 140 characters."
@hurstsalittle I think the idea of using twitter as a way of teachers connecting with one another has validity; it doesn't endanger students in any way and can create a sense of community with colleagues you might not get enough time to interact with face to face.
@hurstsalittle I appreciate the broad perspective of this article. The author does a nice job of considering the pluses and minuses of teachers tweeting. And it’s comparatively current! Actually from within the last year!
@sallylthelen I’m thinking Einstein, since he had so many pithy quotes, although throwing the hashtag in front of “e=mc2” somehow detracts, don’t you think?
