@PuzzleTeamClub Greetings! For some reason I have lost patron status and can't figure out how to sign in again or find out what happened to my account.
@POTUS Per your press secretary, if a person is not insured, they will not have access to free Covid test. I am self-employed, don't yet qualify for Medicare, cannot afford ACA insurance because of my age and I make just a little too much for Medicaid. No free tests for me.
@PressSec There are 330,000,000 Americans (2020 census). 160,000,000 will have access to free Covid testing (quoting you). If my math is correct, that leaves 170,000,000 without access. I don't find that humorous.
@PressSec I am semi-retired, self-employed, not yet qualified for Medicare. Since insurance mandate gone for ACA, I can't afford Marketplace insurance. I shouldn't have access to free Covid testing? Expletive deleted.
@1a Spent a summer in Peoria with a Caterpillar employee family during college -- it was routine for them to prep each year for layoffs (this was 1980's). I admired their planning routine.
@1a Why no mention of wild game? Deer have lost natural predators and now are invading residential areas bring Lyme with them. Domestic meat production is the problem.
@MichiganHHS I am a physician doing home Medicare visits and am group 1A for vaccination. I started my search in January and it included my local health department as well as Sparrow and U of M health systems. It was always "don't call us, we'll call you"
@WhiteHouse Why do you continue to ignore Michigan? I am a physician doing home Medicare visits and it took me a month and a half to finally find a place that could/would vaccinate me. Even the local health department would not return my calls.
@MSNBC I'm a physician in Michigan doing home Medicare visits. I spent all of February and half of March looking for covid vaccination. Despite being top priority group, I always got a "don't call us, we'll call you" response. Michigan has not had a sufficient vaccine response
@PuzzleTeamClub Is it a new thing that whenever I click on "new puzzle" it opens a new page (I use Chrome)? A little inconvenient, though it does allow one to still have old game as well as new one.
@publichealthOC I appreciate handwashing but not big role in Covid transmission. Thank goodness. Restaurant employees wearing same pair of gloves to serve different customers drives me nuts.
@BBCWorld Reporting Covid-19 origin as escapee of Chinese lab is blatantly false (ask virologists). As a physician doing YouTube health info reviews, this reporting violates YT community standards as dangerous misinformation
@1a Recommend the book "Stiff: the Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" by Mary Roach. The concept of giving one's body to science has a very broad meaning. I want to donate my body and then go way of compost. . .
@NPRWeekend March 15 -- the date of an outdoor orientation event for which my son and I were to participate. We spiked a fever the night before and decided against attendance. Little did we know how things would change from that point.
@PuzzleTeamClub Like the new addition. For this I can point to the website Logic Games Online -- Netwalk. Have loved the online sodoku version at this site as well.
@1a My daughter is a census worker. The most remarkable things she has noted is the considerable number of people suspicious of and non-cooperative with the census. Are they unaware that using social media is much more revealing of personal information than the census?
@dpakman
Hi! I just joined Alpha membership on YouTube and can't find the Bonus show to save my life (I have looked under Community tab, couldn't find it there) Help!
@sabmc The public health community could begin to address this through public education and working with physician organizations (ACOG) to incorporate prenatal counseling about pollution and heat exposure mitigation
@sabmc Climate Change Incompatible With Pregnancy!
This article in JAMA is a study showing an association of air pollution and heat exposure with pregnancy complications and poor birth outcomes: https://t.co/NQ5UIgKFVB
