I take Tavernier and Hill out from my FPL and replace one ironically with a NEWC player. Now Tavernier bagged a goal while Hill is bossing the BOU defence against NEWC the first 20min. Shocker
There's something about Gen-Z Muslim Brits that think the whole world should be an extension of Edgware Road or Tower Hamlets
What do you mean you were shocked to find no mosques or halal restaurants on a remote Greek island 😂
only low iq westerners still say this. they’re stuck in the 80s and 90s when the west was untouchable. go to bangkok, singapore, shenzhen today and it’s cleaner, safer and more modern than half of europe. we’re coasting on a reputation we stopped earning 20 years ago
I want that boring Muslim life. Isha then sleep. Fajr before the world wakes up. Qur’an in the quiet. Gym. Halal food. Dhikr walks. Sunnahs. A small circle that actually reminds you of Allah. Less posting. Less explaining. Less being available to everybody. More solitude. More prayer. More peace. And if somebody thinks your life looks boring? Fine. You’re not building your life for their entertainment. Sometimes the most beautiful thing is simply being close to Allah and hard to disturb.
In 1258, the Mongols destroyed Baghdad.
A city that had stood at the heart of Muslim scholarship was devastated.
Libraries were destroyed. Scholars were killed. The Abbasid caliphate in Baghdad fell.
It looked like Islam had been defeated.
But history wasn't finished.
Less than 40 years later, in 1295, Ghazan Khan, the grandson of Hulagu Khan, the Mongol ruler who destroyed Baghdad embraced Islam.
And the Mongol rulers of Persia gradually became patrons of the very civilization their predecessors had once devastated.
They built mosques.
They supported scholars.
They established religious institutions.
They contributed to Islamic art, literature and architecture.
Think about that:
They came to destroy Islam.
But Islam outlived them.
They destroyed buildings and libraries.
The message survived.
They tried to erase a civilization.
Instead, their descendants became part of it.
Do you know why ?
Because you cannot destroy the truth by destroying the people who carry it.
You cannot burn the Qur'an out of people's hearts.
You cannot kill an idea whose source is divine.
And so you cannot destroy Islam.
Islam is the truth.
Empires rise.
Empires fall.
Generations come and go.
But the truth remains.
The Mongols learned that the hard way.
You can attack Islam.
You can persecute Muslims.
You can destroy cities.
But you cannot destroy the truth.
Because Allah has promised:
“It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, so that He may make it prevail over every religion.”
The enemies change.
The empires change.
The centuries change.
But the truth remains and that's Islam
