La actividad sísmica se intensificó en Perú durante las últimas 24 horas con el registro de nueve temblores. El evento de mayor magnitud fue de 4.6 y ocurrió a 108 kilómetros al suroeste de Ica.

Los reportes muestran que la costa de Ica concentró la mayor cantidad de movimientos, mientras que otros sismos también fueron detectados frente a Huacho y Chimbote. Las magnitudes oscilaron entre 3.5 y 4.6, sin que hasta el momento se informen afectaciones de gravedad.

Las autoridades mantienen el monitoreo de la situación y recuerdan a la población la importancia de estar preparada ante futuros sismos, ya que Perú es uno de los países con mayor actividad sísmica de la región.
