To those celebrating the fact that I'm smoking a blunt: it's a cigar. Even if it decided to identify as a blunt for the purposes of this celebration, it would remain objectively, provably and demonstratively a cigar.

Supreme Court rules that a woman is legally defined as . . . a woman. Congratulations.
And “The concept of sex is binary, a person is either a woman or a man”. Yes, the science was settled in the Precambrian. Nice that the law has finally caught up.
How many Muslims have you seen even acknowledge the disaster happening in Syria? I haven’t seen a single one. Yet, they expect the whole world including people from all faiths to stand up for them, even when they are the ones acting as aggressors.
When Muslims are the aggressors, they always say that “they’re not representing our faith.” But if someone from any other religion commits a crime, suddenly their entire belief system is to blame. Israel being at war with terrorists somehow becomes a reflection of all Jews worldwide — so why not shout “Gas the Jews” in Australia, right? The hypocrisy is exhausting.
I’ll never understand why people are so obsessed with Jews but never say a word about the threat of Islam and Islamic subversion in the West.
Christians aren’t a minority in the Middle East because of Jews.
Christian women aren’t being raped by Jews in Europe…
Jews aren’t the people beheading Christians in Africa.
I really bet that if some of these Christians watched an Islamic terrorist slaughter a Christian in real life, they would still find a way to blame a Jew.
There is no such thing as the Christian-Islamic alliance.
We live in such bizarre times.
And my grandpa doubled down on the two nation theory, promoted Islam as state religion and gave them jihad training to go fight enemies in Kabul and kashmir (and banned alcohol and declared ahmedis as non Muslims to make them happy)
Hamas executed a mother and her two children in cold blood.
This is barbarism. Israel has every right to finish the job and eradicate these terrorists from the face of the earth.
If you tore down their posters
If you defended their captors
If you didn’t demand their freedom
If you kept quiet or looked away
You contributed to evil in this world
When the world heard about Kfir’s abduction, they responded by ripping down his poster.
I’ll never get over how such unimaginable cruelty was met with such unbelievable indifference.
A truly devastating, gut-wrenching piece by @SethAMandel. How painful it must have been to write these words:
"The crimes against the Bibas family are indeed the symbol of the anti-civilizational menace that is Hamas—but also of the cowardice of the political and cultural leaders of the enlightened West. Yes, we should be ashamed of our fellow Americans, who not only won’t mention the Bibas family but won’t even learn the name of a single American hostage held in Gaza throughout the war....
Kfir’s face became a symbol of the conflict because it represented a line that had been crossed and cannot be uncrossed. Members of Congress giddily attended tentifada demonstrations that were no longer simply 'pro-Palestine' or 'anticolonial'; they were about defending those who stole Kfir from his home and dragged him to Gaza where, according to Hamas, he died. And it is impossible for the rest of us to pretend that we didn’t see a chunk of society, whether in person or online, rush to cross that line and cheer the people who kidnapped a baby....
Kfir became a symbol because he is the answer to every relevant question about this conflict. His case is the war boiled down to its essence. Kfir is the dividing line. In a better world, there’d be no one standing on the wrong side of it."
If you still support Hamas after their admission of killing the Bibas family — two babies and their mother — I am at a loss for words to describe the depths of the evil you have you in your soul
This is reality:
- Turkey bombs Kurdish hospitals.
- Sudanese women endure sexual slavery.
- Libya operates active African slave markets.
- Qatar exploits migrant workers (e.g., over 6,500 died building the 2022 World Cup infrastructure).
- China still detains Uyghurs in concentration camps.
- Iran publicly hangs innocent people on cranes.
- Russia disgustingly targets Ukrainian civilians.
- Yazidi women remain missing in the ISIS sex trade.
- Afghanistan has outlawed women’s voices.
- Iraq legally permits pedophiles to marry young kids.
- Myanmar openly commits beheadings.
- The Gulf Clan cartel unleashes violence and rapes—especially in the Darién Gap.
Yet, you’re obsessed with Israel—a democracy with over 2.1 million Arab citizens—defending itself against insane terrorists.
I am convinced we are being punk’d?
Growing up, another word I heard often was “Awrah,” which means shameful nakedness. Not just your body or hair, even your voice is Awrah. If you’re a woman, merely speaking out loud is shameful. Singing is especially immoral. In Iran, women are imprisoned for singing.
I remember once asking my mother what I should do in an emergency. She told me, 'Just say one word quickly.' Because letting a man hear your voice is like letting him see your legs or your breasts.
The “rationale” is that if your voice is beautiful, it could “drive a man crazy,”which might lead him to assault you. But ultimately, the goal is to silence you so you don’t ask questions.
In 1922, a group of scientists went to the Toronto General Hospital where diabetic children were kept in wards, often 50 or more at a time. Most of them were comatose and dying from diabetic ketoacidosis. Others were being treated by being placed on an extremely strict diet, which inevitably led to starvation.
This is known as one of medicine's most incredible moments. Imagine a room full of parents sitting at the bedside waiting for the inevitable death of their child.
The scientists went from bed to bed and injected the children with a new purified extract: it was called insulin.
As they began to inject the last comatose child, the first child injected began to awaken. Then one by one, all the children awoke from their diabetic comas. A room of death and gloom became a place of joy and hope.
In the early 1920s Frederick Banting and Charles Best discovered insulin under the directorship of John Macleod at the University of Toronto. With the help of James Collip insulin was purified, making it available for the successful treatment of diabetes.
In the same year, Banting, Collip, and Best decided to sell the insulin patent to the University of Toronto for $1.
Banting and Macleod earned a Nobel Prize for their work in 1923.

In her book #Unveiled, @yasmohammedxx asks why criticism of only one religion is considered bigotry, why one group of people must be treated differently, why their violence, misogyny , homophobia, antisemitism, xenophobic is tolerated or even worse justified by the west.
