Went from my all time favorite list to my all time hate-to-see-it list.
I am unwell. Give me a Crosby trade (maxx or Sidney) so we can get our vengeance.
ELECTRIC: #BEARS HEAD COACH BEN JOHNSON GAVE ONE OF THE ALL-TIME POSTGAME LOCKER ROOM VICTORY SPEECHES.
THE PLAYERS WENT ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.
Johnson has every single one of his players and staff members bought in and has turned Chicago into a winner.
We had to wait until week 12 for this revelation? If you watched 2 minutes of them on defense you’d see Stone, Carter, and Knight missing tackles (or having questionable pursuit angles) on command. Seems odd that it took getting to 3-8 for this to come to light
Bengals DC Al Golden met with S Geno Stone to discuss his tackling and how it could be better. It made a big impact.
Stone: "Al sat me down last week and said I need to start closing space more. He was telling me when Jessie (Bates) first got here, that’s how Jessie was, too."
Today the Bengals had:
- Kick off returned for a TD
- Blocked field goal
- Onside kick recovery
- 500 yards of offense
- Two WRs with 100+ yards
- 15 points scored in less than a minute
- 42 total points scored
…… and lost.
And because I know someone will say “but how many tackles has Jessie missed” to justify Jordan playing better, so here😂💯
Missed tackles:
Jessie: 8
Jordan: 11
Bengals show promise on the drive.
Then ...
1. Drop by Chase Brown.
2. False start by Amarius Mims.
3. Drop by Andrei Iosivas.
4. Fair catch interference.
Bengals hitting bad-club bingo there.
The #Bengals were flagged for 11 penalties (three were declined) in the first half.
The offense is stagnant and without any juice. The defense was missing tackles and assignments.
Getting their doors blown off for second straight week (55-6 in first half last two weeks).
Last week it was turnovers, this week it’s penalties, but it’s always SOMETHING. The bottom line is lack of discipline, poor game planning, and no semblance of leadership/intensity.
Hard to watch year after year, might go to bed instead of watch this 😂
