It’s weird to feel sad about a tour ending, but the Eras Tour was so much more than that.
It was a thrilling pop cultural phenomenon built around pure joy and love for the soundtrack of so many peoples’ lives.
I can’t wait to see what Taylor Swift does next.
The world is hers.
@loyalgirlfriday She always has to insert herself unnecessarily too. Like the scene when John goes home to sell his mom’s home. The sheriff says he’ll be happy when John leaves town (shoot out and all) and John says same. Then she comes from no where to say me too. Why?!
TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS---4 for Sat. night, Nov. 2. ONE WINNER, will also buy dinner at Wisanggeni Pawon on E. 71st St. Retweet this & TELL ME WHY IT SHOULD BE YOU. Must incl. hashtag #ForTheShoe🙂 Fri. NOON deadline. Will be many worthy entries, but I can only pick one! ✌️
I’m torn. On one hand, Trump’s former chief of staff says he’s a Hitler-admiring fascist who wants to rule like a dictator. But, on the other, Harris can’t locate pay stubs from a part-time job 40 years ago.
What a perplexing decision.
Florida is recovering from one hurricane while another is on the way.
-The Republican Governor is refusing to talk with the President to coordinate hurricane relief
-All Florida Republicans in Congress voted against supplemental disaster relief money for FEMA
-82 House Republicans, including 11 from Florida, voted to shut down the government, knowing a powerful hurricane was on its way
-The Republican-controlled House took a vacation for the month of August instead of passing a budget on time, which means no new FEMA budget
-The Republican Speaker of the House is refusing to reconvene Congress from their second month-long vacation to pass emergency supplemental funds for FEMA
-The Republican presidential nominee continually lies about the federal disaster response instead of making sure his voters have the correct information to receive help
-The Republican party wants to eliminate FEMA and NOAA (the agency that monitors, tracks, and predicts the path of hurricanes)
-The Republican Party refuses to acknowledge climate change while watching insurance companies leave Florida because increasingly stronger storms are making insurance claims too expensive to operate
Florida, why do you keep voting for the party that not only does nothing for you but actively works against your best interests?
The bottom line is, women do not want nor are we asking for men to protect us, we’re asking for men to stop being the thing we need protection from. I can’t make it any clearer.
