Love the @SCHPLUGS resources (even those available to non-members) on #LabStewardship, Insurance Appeals, Preauthorization, and Medical Necessity Guidance
@SCHPLUGS Also as a patient-facing clinician I often encounter external conflict but now have new compassion for my #LabStewardship colleagues facing internal conflict from peers and colleagues!
@SCHPLUGS Loved Dr. Kim’s points that to create a Culture of Learning you balance people and problems, by being friendly and firm.
An eye opening talk for my people pleasing tendencies with lots to chew on over lunch!
Today’s Supreme Court decision is welcome news, but the fight for reproductive rights is far from over. Someone else will file a lawsuit. Another state will pass legislation restricting women’s options. The only way to stop these attacks on women’s autonomy is to make sure that women have the political power to set their own agenda, instead of having their fundamental rights depend on someone else’s. We all have a role to play in this fight. Raise your voice. And vote in November. Your health and your future should be in your hands.
Just your regular reminder that almost 40% of 12-21 year old females in the US are iron deficient yet most aren’t aware because we don’t have universal screening.
And it’s likely even higher in adults.
