Say what you want. But Vaught Hemingway is an extremely difficult place to play. Period.
Awesome breakdown by Brooks on his experience from the field. Guy has been to a ton of places and watched a ton of big games.
Here’s what he had to say about it:
Scottie Pippen told the truth 🔥
''When I look at LeBron, he’s not what Michael was as a player.
He’s not even what Kobe Bryant was as a player.
LeBron doesn’t have that gene. That’s not in him.
Kobe has that gene.
LeBron isn’t built with the DNA of a true fighter.
He doesn’t have that warrior’s gene.
Jordan and Kobe did.
They stepped on the court like it was a battlefield, refusing to surrender, doing whatever it took to win.
But LeBron…
He can lose to the same team over and over.
Then flop on the floor, throw his hands at the refs, and act like honor doesn’t matter.
That’s not greatness. That’s weakness.
Honestly, I don’t know why he’s always talking about being the GOAT.
Jordan may not have faced him, but Kobe did. Duncan did. Curry did.
They all beat him when it counted.
How can you keep calling yourself the greatest when so many have already proven you’re not?
If this is the face of the NBA today, no wonder the ratings are falling.
Today, when I look at the league’s struggles, I can’t help but feel it’s because the face of the NBA has changed.
Instead of honor, we see excuses.
Instead of loyalty, we see someone running from problems, escaping to another team, demanding recognition without earning it.
That’s not greatness.
That’s not the legacy this game deserves.
A clown can wear the crown, but it will never make him a king.''
If your wife was seeing the person you hated most.
Refused to talk about it until after Thanksgiving “for the kids”
Then said she was leaving you for him but acted like she should get 2 stay through Christmas.
Would you let her?
Because apparently Saban & @KirkHerbstreit would.
To our fans, this team is completely locked in, living in the moment, and staying true to our 1-0 mindset for the Egg Bowl and future games. We are unbothered by anything about next year and fully trusting Coach Kiffin’s leadership to keep us moving toward our goals!
NEW: Nick Saban suggests to @clowfb that Lane Kiffin may already have a better job at Ole Miss than he would at LSU or Florida🤔
“Jobs that weren’t great jobs before are now. Lane is the first name up for Florida and the first name up for LSU, but I think you can have a long debate on whether either one of those jobs is actually better than the job he has now because he has some guys over there at Ole Miss that give him pretty much whatever he wants from a roster standpoint...
Maybe you’ve got alumni who are passionate about football, but are they willing to invest what you have to invest now to win? Because a lot of people don’t believe in this shit.”

I've been to several cities/stadiums over the last couple of years covering WSU.
No one, and I mean no one, holds a candle to Ole Miss. The fans were amazing. The hospitality was incredible.
The atmosphere, even not at its best, surpasses any road city I've been to.
HUMANITY! ❤️
During a comedy show, a man had a heart attack... the way humanity stepped up to work together 😭 and the fact that Drew Lynch went to the hospital to finish the show for him.
He writes, "In the middle of my set, a man in the audience collapsed from a heart attack. What happened next was one of the most powerful examples of community and human connection I’ve ever seen. Without hesitation, people in the audience began taking turns performing CPR, clearing space for paramedics, and monitoring his vitals. He had no pulse for over 5 minutes. With the combined efforts of total strangers, and honestly, by what felt like a miracle that night, he was revived right there in the room. The entire audience came together in that moment—no egos, no identities, no division—just one goal: saving a life. The next day my funny friends Akeem Hoyte-Charles , Rachel Aflleje and I visited Mr. Wende in the hospital to finish the show for him. Getting to laugh and share stories with his family for hours in the hospital was the reminder I needed of why comedy is so needed- especially in times when the world feels so torn apart. HUGE thank you to the people of Spokane, the brave medical professionals, and the Wende family for bringing this man into my life and reminding me just how special community can be."

Regardless of the outcome, Ole Miss is in a position to achieve its third season of 10+ wins in the last four years. Kiffin's second Ole Miss team in 2021 was the first 10-win regular season ever. The 2023 team broke the school record for 11 total wins in a season. A potential third 10-win team would give the Rebels their first three-out-of-four since the early 1960's. The last time that happened was in 1959, 1960 and then again in 1962. The common denominator is Ole Miss claiming national championships in each of those seasons (prior to the BCS and CFP era). @OleMissFB
This film lasts only 4 minutes and it won an Oscar ...
Intense, but it conveys tremendous reality, empathy and putting ourselves in other people's shoes ...
Knowing how to recognize your mistakes and knowing that others also have their problems and empathizing is precious ...
