يتابع اتحاد الصحافيين والصحافيات في لبنان بقلق بالغ الاتصالات المسجّلة والمباشرة التي تلقّاها عدد من الصحافيين والصحافيات المقيمين والعاملين في مدينة صور الأسبوع الماضي من جهات إسرائيلية تضمّنت تحذيرات ومطالبات بالإخلاء.

ويجدّد الاتحاد مطالبه إلى الدولة اللبنانية لتوثيق الاعتداءات ضدّ الصحافيين مركزيًا، وفتح تحقيقات قضائية فيها، والعمل على إقرار قانون يعاقب على جرائم الحرب. كذلك يطلب الاتحاد من الحكومة اللبنانية الدعوة إلى تشكيل لجنة تقصي حقائق من مجلس حقوق الإنسان، وإعطاء الصلاحية للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية للتحقيق في جرائم الحرب منذ 8 تشرين الأوّل 2023.

تقدّمت النائبة حليمة القعقور مع النائب ميشال موسى اليوم الإثنين 1 حزيران بالتعاون مع اللجنة الوطنية للقانون الدولي الانساني برئاسة د. طارق متري، واتحاد الصحافيين والصحافيات، والمفكرة القانونية، باقتراح قانون الجرائم الدولية.

واعتبرت القعقور أنّ إقرار هذا القانون مهمّ جدًا لتوثيق جرائم الحرب عبر ملفات قضائية وتحقيقات رسمية مبنيّة على قانون واضح يفسّر الأركان المادية والمعنوية والقانونية لجرائم الحرب.
