@JacobsFieldRBW It’s obvious this is at the fault of ownership. The front office hands are tied by the make believe motto of “we are a small market”. Which is a philosophy generated by cheap ownership. The best thing the MLB could do is implement a salary cap with minimum payroll requirements.

@CleGuardPro Might as well. We are wasting his prime by not putting any offensive help around him. He also gave us an extremely team friendly contract which ownership in return has done nothing with. Attendance has been up, TV revenues are up and yet no investment on the field.

@JLEWFifty Ownership is never serious about winning. When Hedges is considered a “big” off season move. This team was just one or two decent offensive veterans away from still being in the playoff hunt. You can’t just have two good hitters and 7 well below average hitters in a lineup.
