I still remember when some group fans accused Est of trying to steal the spotlight simply because he appeared at GMMTV Live House during LYKN’s concert last year. What they failed to consider was that Est only attended the second day of the two-day concert, and he never acted as though he wanted to take attention away from LYKN. In fact, he seemed to deliberately keep a low profile.

Sometimes I wonder what things could have been like if WilliamEst had been accepted from the beginning. Perhaps we could have seen them sharing the same stage, supporting each other, and enjoying performances together. Unfortunately, after everything that has happened, that kind of moment now feels increasingly difficult to imagine.

And I don’t think it’s fair to compare this situation to Jasper. Jasper’s fans have consistently shown support for his partners and have been accepting of interactions between him and the other members. The situation surrounding WilliamEst has not always received that same level of acceptance from certain group fans.

For the record, Westies have never been against LYKN and WilliamEst appearing on the same stage. We have always supported William and Est’s decisions, including whoever they choose to invite or perform with. We don’t need them to choose sides.

What makes this difficult is seeing that there are still people who treat WilliamEst negatively. It’s hard to ignore that history and simply expect Westies to enthusiastically support the idea of a shared concert stage in the future.

We can respect LYKN and continue supporting WilliamEst at the same time. But support has to come with mutual respect. If WilliamEst have not always been treated with that respect, then please understand why some Westies may not feel comfortable supporting the same opportunities in return.

We’re not asking anyone to choose between LYKN and WilliamEst. We’re simply asking for the same respect that we have always been willing to give.
